Our torrent client thinks this download is corrupt and won't run it, so not available for now. I know Nyaa shows others have downloaded it. We'll post here if we find a fix or it resolves (think days not hours).
Their site checked as safe (Checked with Virus Total and Google Safe browsing - "Clean"). Don't like that it always force redirects to a completely new window which isn't a good thing. Anyway moving on ...
Made account. Uploaded 18mb video file. Went to link provided. Clicked download and every time my Bitdefender caught this "tetilot-cesahdotcom" infected webpage shit. It tried to access IDM but Bitdefender blocked it. And they have the nerve to ask for donations.
""""Bitdefender Total Security warning Notice

Stay away from them. Even signing out tries to force redirect. To many warning signs of malicious intent.
If redirects and malware warnings aren't enough read their fucked up terms. They basically state they can fuck you any way they want if they choose and you have to deal with it if you want an account with them.
They've been around a long while and are probably disappointed in the profits. It just seems strange that both Go4Up and Jheberg have the same problem of accepting free uploads but not distributing the files to their hosts.
If it was a business move someone is lacking some brain cells. I literally just made the account today to test an 18mb file on Jheberg. Not working at all right from the start is idiotic. Trying to increase revenue is one thing but no trial period, no free file limit of any size .... no way in hell would I or anyone else pay for a virtual service you cant even test.
It says an account is needed to use the api for uploads. A 50 file limit as stated on the homepage wouldn't work either as an account total or even a daily limit for AT.
Anonymous uploads are generally the only way to process AT's level of output.
As it says in the AT FAQ:
"Some considerations to make when considering a host:
Are accounts required for uploading? Anonymous uploading is preferred here. If an account is required, how much space is given? Are there any other upload limits? How long do files last? Does the host modify uploaded files in any way? What quirks does the host have? Is the host friendly to downloaders?"
but then why provide uploading function to free customers. i too tested, not working on my side. changed locations using vpn, no success. if they are identifying vpn ip's then.. probably im thinking too much.
Thanks for that, but the real test is whether paid customers get links and free customers do not. It would explain why the sites are still up for so long but not working for free customers.
With a free Jheberg account I tried an 18mb anime short ova and no dice. First tried multiple hosters then with just one host and result was the same as here at AT.
Will try Go4up later if no one else does before I get home later.
Searched alternatives to Jheberg and several results. Maybe MirrorAce? Up to 5gb file size.
As an update, I tried uploading to Go4Up and Jheberg, and they still don't seem to be sending files off to hosts. If you're interested, you can actually just try uploading to them yourself - a small test file will do. If either of them ever successfully push the file to hosts, please do post a comment here to let me know!
Thanks for raising that. It's usually that they've changed their code on their end, which breaks the scraper here, and I haven't gotten around to fixing it. I'll look at getting it to work again.
Go4Up site went dead. When it came back admin added it back here, but the Go4Up site didn't respond to any uploads. After a few weeks of waiting and trying admin dropped it again.
Jheberg: Another recently not working multi-uploader site is Jheberg. It was taking uploads but not distributing files to their hosts. This happened about the time the CEO was touting a big infrastructure and features change, so someday maybe they'll get it working again.
I got a MultiUp page with a big blue bar that said "Download" and clicked it. It gave me 6 DDl-Services to choose from. I chose 1Fichier and got a page with a big orange bar that says "Click here to download the file". I did, and downloaded it with Firefox.
If you are not getting that experience, your browser setting may be stopping it due to various settings such as no cookies, no scripts or whatever. Your options are to change settings or browsers. It may also be possible that MultiUp is not available in your country, I suppose.
If you provide such details, maybe there are other suggestions. The MultiUp counter also said two others had previously downloaded this file.
This has been said before. How the hell do we use Multi????? Its been asked before and nothing but crickets. Multi used to show links here now they dont.
This is what happens to me. I click on a multiup file and get a 503 error Service temporarily unavailable Cannot download this file
Ive received the same error every time with every multiup file Ive tried ever since the links stopped showing on AT over a year ago.
I tried go to Multiup and there is no way to search for the files by name so tried making an account and same deal. I only see options to upload files.
Thanks for raising the issue. I just tried manually uploading something, and it's experiencing the same issue, so looks like a problem on Jheberg's side that I can't do much about unfortunately. I've disabled uploads to them until they fix up the issue on their side.
The files are uploaded to Jheberg by AT, click on the link and you can see the file. Also, the listing of the Jheberg link at AT is confirmation the upload was successful.
Jheberg looks like it is having a problem distributing files to their hosts. Nothing in the news. Probably a Jheberg problem that AT can't do anything about. Wait and see.
I've already responded to you above - you don't need to reiterate yourself to draw attention to your pleas.
It's hardly 'blogging' by any standard, it's basically insult flinging and attention seeking. I have better things to do than join in that nonsense. The purpose of comment removal was to stop the posts, not encourage them, so your claim about me posting anonymously is simply ludicrous. (also, there's no reason why I'd need to post anonymously anyway) Comment removal can be selective or broad - as much as you may not like it, it really doesn't matter. All that matters is that enough context is removed to make the chain no longer make sense, and discourage further comments from being made. What's deleted is completely up to our discretion (though I tend to focus on the person causing the most trouble). If you don't want it to occur, then make sure that the conversation remains considerate and doesn't turn nasty. I think we're very open to comments here - perhaps too much as the parent commentor alludes, but again, that doesn't mean there's no limits whatsoever.
There is nothing opinionated here other than your incorrect claims on the matter.
a. I'm having trouble with this download b. I'm having trouble with playback c. I believe the download is defective d. I believe the download is in the wrong category.
"This is a somewhat temporary page.." refers to this Feedback page where they might allow more room for commenting on the site for improvements.
In that spirit I would offer the following to staff: This is a download site, other topics are just gas. Changing article comments to multi-choice only with pre-programmed responses would be better than what you now have, unless you want staff to waste their time.
People who want a discussion can go somewhere appropriate to their topics. There are plenty of blog and discord sites, but not plenty of good download sites. Download sites should do what they do best.
Your argument would maybe be valid if the deletions were a broad sweep, but they're not, the deletions are selective. It really does look like the admins are getting involved in the 'blogging' often with their admin hats off, and delting comments that refute their own 'blogging' opinions in the debate.
Also, maybe they might want to review their ever so edgy banner heading if shitposting is not welcome (i.e.opinions contrary to theirs)
Current edgy banner reads: This is a somewhat temporary page made especially for the beta version of this website. It's to collect all your death threats, love messages, requests to the code monkeys or just suggestions/issues/questions/criticisms/idle talk or whatever feedback you think is worth our database space.
What I worry about is making AT continue to be a fun and worthwhile experience for admin and others so the party doesn't end even after 10 years of his/her paying all the bills, fixing stuff up, and doing janitorial duties.
There are a few here who don't care about any of that.
No, you're just being full of shit. I removed all the comments because no-one needs to read that crap, and it's not even worth the database space to store it. You can try calling foul about curation or opinion promotion or the like, but the fact is, if it's mostly a mess of insults or attempts to incite pointless bickering, I'm more inclined to remove it.
I think I'm generally a lot more accepting of comments than most other places, but even I have my limits. If you don't like it, go someplace else. Otherwise you can keep wasting time posting comments which I'll just remove.
Come on Mods, you guys barely delete anything. You can't wait for just dirty language or nastiness. If an exchange becomes a blog it belongs at a discussion-forum site where they have the tools to manage it. Delete it and send them back to whatever site that does that stuff.
If a Mod doesn't like to delete stuff, think of it as just supporting the Mod who made the decision it was time and help them out.
I read them too, one refuted the post it was replying to, the others were reminiscing about the old internet pre social media and mobile phones. They were good posts. Animetosho has an authoritarian SJW on your mod team for sure.
