Care to explain in what way those comments are not useful? They make unaware people that those releases are made with NVENC and should be avoided at all costs.
"[INDEX]" comments are not really helpful. "ashamed" "trash" "tricked" are very poor descriptions of the problems with these files. The fact that Nyaa removed these files is the only strong indication of real problems.
Adding crap like that would make the site slower. Next you will be wanting a fancier interface that would slow down things even more. This site is fast and clean. I prefer it the way it is.
VARYG uploads to TokyoTosho seem to not include "multi-audio" in the name, and for uploads on both Nyaa and TT, AT prefers the latter. It seems like VARYG's presence on TT is inconsistent, leading to mixed naming conventions across their uploads here.
You can try to work around this using a search that combines both naming schemes (or just perform two searches).
(maybe I'll modify the search to look at both Nyaa and TT titles, though that could itself cause some confusion)
If I recall correctly, you don't "upload" files to IPFS, you "host" them, very much like torrents. As such, it doesn't really fit in with what this site does. Also, I don't really see what IPFS offers over torrents, given the former already has wide adoption.
could you try pushing files not only to sharehosters and other highly commercial stuff, like that usen?t **, but also to ipfs/interplanatery filesystem in a way that is reproducible by when others push the same files they get the same CID/url so that we all can help build up a torrent2ipfs gateway? I dont know how long a file that is not hosted anymore stays on ipfs...
is that feasible or a bad idea? i am just now trying to publish more then 300G using ipfs but i am not sure if it will work cause i am not allowed to open ports to the global net...
regards,
T
PS: i use symlinks and bindfs this anoyin ipfs thing is unable to not copy all stuff again to my home directory with less then 10G free, and hosting at the same time, will take a couple o hours to run through 300GB+ then ill see if it works on other hosts then myself
New links to the krakenfiles host are broken. They contain an extra "https://krakenfiles.com" at the beginning, E.g. instead of something like https//krakenfiles.com/view/xxxxxxxxxx/file.html the links are https://krakenfiles.comhttps//krakenfi.../file.html

Thanks for those. Unfortunately S00* naming convention doesn't map cleanly to AniDB, and I don't know of any reliable way to deal with them. As such, I'd expect most such entries to be labelled incorrectly and I'm not that interested in fixing them.

you are doing the lord's work, glad more people are helping out with finding errors!
If you're not getting responses past line 11, I'm not sure what your issue is exactly. It looks like packets are being dropped by an intermediary (somewhere in France?). The last line points to Scaleway and running a traceroute from there seems to route fine. You might have no other choice but to use a VPN/proxy.
I also presume screenshots don't load for you here?
These are the lines of the traceroute, i can't see any screenshots nor can i post any i think

Some uploaders put an indication in the title, but it may not be consistent. You can check the source links for more info, as well as clicking on the files to see what audio tracks are listed.
Can you post the last few lines of the traceroute, before it times out (11th step)? This gives an indication of where your packets are being dropped.
I also presume screenshots don't load for you here?

That's super handy to know, thanks! In hindsight I probably should've taken a look at the JSON API before posting, since it makes sense that it'd have more freedom to include anime specific data.
i tried all the steps in that article, the ping gives back timeout and the traceroute timeouts at the 3 step and then works fine until the 11th where it timeouts again
AniDB IDs are returned in the JSON API (replace /api with /json in the URL).

To be more clear, what I'm suggesting is adding a <newznab:attr name="anidbid" value="#####"/>, where ##### is the anidb id for the the series associated with a given <item/>

Would it be feasible to add additional database IDs to the newznab/torznab feed? I'm working on a tool currently, and it would be a lot easier if I had access to the AniDB ID for a given item in the newznab response.
