Some members from Kametsu actually found a great way to upload 30 GB+ releases here. Instead of making a whole release as a single torrent, they upload episode per episode. Usually 2.5 GB episodes. Cool right?

Nothing has changed, but I've noticed weirdness with the search index sometimes dropping terms. I'm not sure what's going on with that, but it seems to be working now. Thanks for bringing that up! If anyone notices anything similar happening, please do bring it up.
Has something changed in search engine? Today I couldn't find something, I did check yesterday. First I thought it's the - to exclude terms, but that's not it. As workaround putting them in "" worked. Example: [Nii-sama]
Thanks for raising it and looking it into as well! It actually appears to be just getting IDs wrong. I don't quite fully understand DiskoKosmiko's upload process, as there appears to be a magic number I don't get. Previously, subtracting 56 to the ID DiskoKosmiko returned would always work, though the significance of the number doesn't make sense to me (and I didn't manage to find where it's sourced from, but I haven't looked too far). The number now appears to be 80.
As such, if you get a non-working link, try copying it and changing the number at the end by subtracting 24, and try visit the new link. I've made a change to the upload script to use the new offset, but existing links will carry the old (bad) one. I don't have any way to determine which links are bad, so can't easily automatically fix links at the moment.
If anyone understands the significance of this magic number and/or how to determine the correct value, I'm interesting to know!
Another thing, DiskoKosmiko seems to have a lot of upload issues as of late (like servers simply not responding to upload requests), so a lot of the uploads aren't getting through unfortunately.
I just checked a bunch of different files and different groups and shows are gone and real fast. I do agree they may be looking for [tags], I looked around there (DiskoKosmiko) a little and found the listings there do not have tags.
Msg to Admins: I noticed that certain file links uploaded to DiskoKosmiko have been getting killed faster than others. It was by chance I found one of the ways its happening. Earlier today A.T.'s script grabbed this [ animetosho.org/view/1261740 ] from TokyoTosho | AniDex and began uploading. (I prefer not to point the finger at a groups popularity for this happening so no names posted here. ) I camped out, reloading every 5-10 minutes waiting for links to appear. And every DiskoKosmiko link that appears is already dead. This is or can only be a guess. It still needs to be verified by Admins. But I wouldn't be posting this if I wasnt as least sure of something. Most likely it points to first part of the file name [Group] and auto kills the links. If this is true, it's shitty that a filehost will agree to a request by a foreign entity to drop anything that has a certain word in the file name.
Spam?!?! I didnt spam shit. Im not going to keep my mouth shut when some stupid piece of shit states he likes loves little prepubescent girls.
Stupid fuck is to dumb to realize a comment like that is enough to have him investigated by the feds.
Whether he was joking or serious with the manner that piece of shit stated it any parent would be furious. Making jokes is one thing. Comments about young children is way across the line.
Any way I can use a Bittorrent hash to find the page for that file on this site? I guess I should search for the name but still, this would be a useful feature.

Hello there,
My name is Aly and I would like to know if you would have any interest to have your website here at animetosho.org promoted as a resource on our blog alychidesigns.com ?
We are in the midst of updating our broken link resources to include current and up to date resources for our readers. Our resource links are manually approved allowing us to mark a link as a do-follow link as well . If you may be interested please in being included as a resource on our blog, please let me know.
Thanks, Aly

how many times will ppl ask the same silly question?
MEGA only has 15GB free storage (after the first month of promotion ends), most batch releases take up more than that. AnimeTosho would have to utilize hundreds of accounts on a DAILY basis. Thus it's just not an ethical solution. Besides even if they did offer more space, files tend to be deleted there at a much more rapid rate than some of the other hosts offered.
I'm not sure at the exact time when you checked, but the search index can take a few minutes to update. The two links seem to be in sync at the time of writing.
