Sorry you missed my feedback concerning [TheComicsHQ] post. The gropp is legit and the sub they posted is also. I know you don't have time to download and check every video fetched. They only subbed and posted the 1st episode. However, this group has attacked all the legit groups to clear the field for their troll subs. I know it was an honest mistake, but please don't help them kill off a legit sub group that might be convinced to continue to sub this series.
This does happen, but it takes time. The issue is that changes (such as deletes) don't get "broadcasted", i.e. the AT script doesn't get notifications of any changes. This means that the only way to pick up changes is to periodically check the upstream site. This can't be done too frequently or you'll overload the source with requests. On the other hand, it's much easier to discover new items, but harder to detect updated items.
The way the script currently scrapes for updates is perhaps a little sub-optimal, but for new files, it usually can pick up changes in a few hours to a day.
Only premium accounts files aren't deleted because of expiration/time limit. DMCA'd files are deleted regardless. 1f/ul.to supports import to own accounts/impoting. 1F/UL/RG premium supports hotlinking. MEGA/ULOZ have file no expiration. I suggest you invest in a cheap seedbox/rapidleech and upload dl'd files to a backup service like Backblaze/Gdrive/MEGA (don't share link)
Thanks so much for the note. As much as I disagree with some of the practices, if the source site hasn't deleted it, I'll likely leave it as is. Of all the remaining entries have comments on them anyway, so downloaders can decide what they want to do based on that.
But I might look into strengthening the de-dupe filter. Hopefully that'll achieve the same goal to some extent.
I haven't made any changes, and don't use IDM, so wouldn't really know what the issue is exactly, unfortunately. Do you get 502 errors in IDM? If not, how does it fail?
[TheComicsHQ] is a legit site. And this post has received no negative comments. I just viewed it and the subs are the very close to those of [MTBB] & the [Ract] release of episode 1. The others are the 'spring anime 2018 hd' troll subs.
i think the RSS feed on search results has broken sometime in the last 24 hours, the RSS feed shows all new frontpage releases but the RSS feed on search results doesn't
Bayfiles, like Hotfiles, FireDrive and many others isn't that reliable hence not-popular. It's better to stay away from it and sticking to well-known file hosting sites like SolidFiles, Openload, Zippysharem CnU, CloudyFiles etc.
'spring anime 2018 hd' is once again attempting to kill off another legit sub group who has released an episode of Sirius the Jaeger. This time its a fake torrent account of [AkhitoSubs]. They successfully got [Ract] subs banned and blocked with this same trick. I have not found evidence of an attempt against the other main Sirius the Jaeger sub group [MTBB], however they have not posted ep06 yet.
IDM can't capture Direct Downloads. Some sites (like Uploaded and NitroFare) just don't allow IDM to catch their downloads. So you should disable IDM first and then download from Direct through your browser not IDM.
I use FireFox w/ IDM hook, never has problem before. Just use opera without IDM hook, working for 20s seconds, then never work anymore. Opera w/ IDM hook never work.
All four parts working fine (well with some retry). There might be something wrong on your side. Trying some download manager or different browser could make a difference.
Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately there's a little technical difficulty with this one: grabbing the count may require traversing through the whole result set, which can be slow (this is also why we generally don't have page number selectors). It can be done in some select cases, e.g. if the number of results is small enough to be on one page, but it could be confusing to only display it sometimes. Maybe if one can come up with an efficient method to do it...
Admin already explained it. That the files are moved around is indicated by the fact, that the files have (mostly) server time stamps totally different from original upload. Never saw a file that wasn't available after some minutes. So 1Fichier's storage system seems to work fine.
Thanks for mentioning it. Does it still do that if you try the links a few minutes after the 502? I've noticed that 1Fichier has introduced some notion of 'cold storage'. Perhaps files are generally placed there, then only moved into 'hot storage' when accessed. The transfer presumably takes some time. I still see a reasonable amount of traffic through the server, so it does at least seem to be working to some extent.
It's happening because a troll is bypassing bans and fetching blocks put in place to save anime sites from having to deal with the problems trolls cause. Yes a few impatient fans download these troll subs to get an early glimpse of a new episode. However, if this group used the same tag every time few would bother to download any more of their releases.
