It's happening because a troll is bypassing bans and fetching blocks put in place to save anime sites from having to deal with the problems trolls cause. Yes a few impatient fans download these troll subs to get an early glimpse of a new episode. However, if this group used the same tag every time few would bother to download any more of their releases.

The '@spring anime 2018 hd' troll subs are back with another tag for a Sirus the Jager release [Spread Love], last week it was a faked [Ract] tag and [Yevgraf-sama], before that it was [Fastest & Best Subs], it started with the honest tag of [SA18HD].

This is just for one anime. Every anime they have released after the first few contain a different tag. This tag changing is to avoid fetching blocks placed by anime sites dealing with complaints against them.

I can only hope the legit [Ract] subs have not been blocked from here or nyaa because of this groups tricks.

Hello CoinDevil representative! (sorry, but "Imp" sounds lame, should've gone with a cooler sounding name)

Our Company is Very Interested in your proposition. We have but a few questions before we can consider your excellent offer.

blocked by most anti-viruses and unfriendly to your visitors so we would like to present you a much better alternative
So is your alternative still unfriendly to our visitors?

one that is not blocked by Anti-Viruses
How long until CoinDevil is blocked by Anti-Viruses? What ways do you have to deal with such software?

Our company is in hosting business for 10 years and we decided to create a much faster, better-performing JavaScript mining solution called CoinImp.
So you've been in the hosting business for 10 years, but how long have you been in the coin mining hosting business for?

if you had any questions about our service
"have" any questions, not "had".

It's great that you pay XMR, but we only accept AnimeToshokƣn. Are you able to pay in AnimeToshokƣn?

Are you looking for a way to avoid setting the theme every ~3 months or so? The theme preference is stored in a cookie, set to expire roughly every 3 months. You could try pinning the cookie for a longer period of time if it bothers you.

Thanks for the info. AT generally just follows whatever upstream sites do, so any bans in place would be at Nyaa and not here.

I have a slight problem with theme changing each time a new one is added, is it possible to store the said theme on say local storage so it doesn't get overridden each time an additional theme is added. Thanks in advance :)

Please note that '@spring anime 2018 hd' is faking legit sub groups tags to get around fetching bans and blocks. Recently faked a [Ract] Sirus the Jaeger post to get past a nyaa ban. Please work to avoid blocking legit subs based on his games. Thanks.

Would you happen to know if those limits apply to unregistered uploads?
Otherwise, does anyone have any thoughts on Bayfiles?

That's something I never would've thought about, thanks for explaining that.
I'll think about how something like that would work. Perhaps some new 'file search' or similar.

For now though, you could use BetaMAX's trick above. Alternatively, you can download the "Attachments table" export, search for your font there and grab the corresponding file_id. With the file_id, visit https://animetosho.org/file/file_id to get the corresponding file.

Totally agree, missing fonts often ruin the TS.
As admin suggested, using the "site:" tag with google works fine when searching for fonts on AT.

It looks like they have a limit of max 500 files or 50 GB per hour, and max 5,000 files or 100 GB per day. AT would hit those limits so quickly.

Here is a situation. If a release have a font missing, it ruins the typesetting. As a solution, I would search the mediainfo for the missing font, download the "All Attachments" from a release which uses the missing font, and install it. This allows the release with the missing font to have typesetting displayed properly.

There's actually a hidden parameter - replace "only_tor" with "only_nzb" and you'll only get NZBs. Hopefully that works for you.

Thanks for providing this fantastic service publicly. Highly appreciated.
Any chance you could add an API parameter similar to ?only_tor=1 but to display only NZB links, e.g. for usage in SABnzbds internal RSS reader.
Currently the feed is not usable in this scenario, as Sab always tries to grab the first link (which is the torrent).

Regards and keep on rocking,
Tom

The search here doesn't search mediainfo, but maybe an external search (like Google) can.
I thought that most of the stuff in mediainfo is the same for most files, and probably not particularly useful for searching purposes. What are you looking for?

Are you thinking about the possibility of increasing the number of torrents that can be processed?
The script wasn't really designed with multiple servers in mind. I suppose a key issue would be how the database would work - you'd probably need some clustered setup. If you could solve that, and a few other small things, such as file syncing (e.g. attachments) from multiple sources, most things should probably work, as long as there isn't some corner case race condition or similar.
Ultimately, it'd probably be easier and make a lot more sense just to get a larger server than deal with the hassle of thinking how to distribute processing and manage merging.

Alternatively, you could just run completely separate setups, if you don't ever need to merge the databases. I'm not sure what your motivation for the question is, but if, say, you wanted other Nyaa categories to be fetched, it could be a viable option, where the other categories would be on their own website.

Of course, I don't accept donations, so this hypothetical scenario won't play out.

Thank you!
Yes, that's exactly what I meant by pipes :)

As for adding servers (specifically for torrent-processing):
By server I meant ether a dedicated one, or a VPS.
For example, if someone went ahead and donated a few dollars:
Would it be possible to rent another server and integrate it into the processing-pipeline, without rewriting large chunks of code?
(once again: for torrent-processing specifically)

AT currently runs on the following 4 'servers':
- updates/torrents processing
- webserver (animetosho.org)
- storage server (storage.animetosho.org) which hosts attachments, screenshots etc. also hosts mirror.animetosho.org
- 1fichier proxy (ddl.animetosho.org) for Direct links

The servers typically have 100Mbps or 1Gbps NICs, but I don't use dedicated bandwidth (i.e. it's shared), so actual maximum throughput can vary depending on usage by others, and the host may throttle the connection, and some have monthly quotas.
I assume that's what you mean by 'pipes'.

Webserver sends out roughly 1TB per month. Storage server somewhere around 1-2TB per month (can vary depending on what sites decide to hotlink screenshots). DDL server varies a lot.

Your last question is hard to answer as it depends on what the purpose the new server would be for. Ordering a new server is usually not difficult, whereas integrating it would depend on what one plans to do with it.

There's also a slight issue of what a server exactly is. Basically, you can have physical servers (aka dedicated servers) which can host multiple virtual servers (technically virtual servers can further host virtual servers too), which means you could create your own notion of what a server is, regardless of underlying hardware or service. animetosho.org and ddl.animetosho.org run on virtual servers, which I consider to be 'servers'.
