That disappearing problem can have many causes, including (but not limited to) hard drive failure, malware problem, downloading with a browser (and not via a download manager) and maybe downloading to a folder you don't expect (due to changes in default download directory).
To verify your system isn't infected with malware, you can scan it with Malwarebytes and NPE.
OP here. Thanks for the responses. Now every time I use another host to download from, the file completes the download but then disappears lmao the struggle is real. Like I'll download something and they'll be there but then disappear without a trace. Siiiigh.
It's quite normal. In many services including OL, one can face with such a problem. In cases like this, using a proxy and downloading from another geography can help.
FileCloud is simple like OpenLoad without pop-up, its speed max to my speed as free. Unfortunately, after certain +GMT (forgot exact hour), the real dl link after captcha is not responding. File that still downloading will stop too. Already experiencing like this time ago, everyday.
Filecloud is usually my main site I dl from. But lately it's been hit or miss. One file will download at 40kbps but then another file will download at 2mbps. Doesn't matter if I cancel and restart. Anyone else experiencing something like this?
AT doesn't have solidfiles account. It's all anonymous upload. We're dealing with pirated content here, of course there'll be some copyright troll hanging around.
Probably only a few months, considering 1Fichier deleted a bunch. But I'm not against the idea - if anyone's willing to tackle such a feat, I'm willing to provide assistance.
Yeah, but wasn't usenet option added somewhere in late 2016? At least a year worth of direct ddl files (including zipped subs/extras not stored in storage.animetosho.org) would be missing though. Well, still beats better than nothing. And without direct ddl, server load/bandwidth usage should be lower, right? Now AT won't blow up.
You can try asking here (the feedback page) and someone might be able to point you in a good direction, probably to a torrent rather than a DDL though.
The download proxy doesn't need premium, only premium access. This is currently €10/year on 1Fichier (€5/year during specials), though it's probably more due to gateway fees etc. I usually prepare to pay for these in advance, but I didn't expect the subscriptions to be revoked without warning (and I still haven't been informed of it by 1Fichier). I can probably get it up again in a few days, if I can get a payment through, but if people can't wait, the option to give an account/key is open (if anyone's actually interested in this, comment and something can be organized).
I don't intend to accept monetary donations or the like, which is why I'm only accepting accounts or keys.
If just a small number of leechers here, say 20-30, would collaborate and donate just €3.5 every 2-3 years, Direct Links would always be up. And pay attention that with the mentioned number, it would be one's turn every 2 to 3 i.e €3.5 per 2-3 years!!! Even prisoners earn more than €3.5 yearly!
Hasn't still anyone purchased a 1Fichier premium account for AT? Man, it's just €3.5 for 1 month and €9.0 for 3 months. I would definitely bought it the day admin mentioned it if I hadn't had some problem with my card (not the money itself).
Thanks for pointing that out! I've changed the scraper code to deal with this. I think I've managed to fix up all instances of it too, so hopefully that does it.
Never tried it. I do recall there being a bunch of security issues reported in the past. They seem to be fixed now (though see 2018 update at the bottom of that page). Although I really don't think the security concerns really matter much to most, I've felt that it was more of a research project / proof-of-concept software than something you'd actually use, at least for now.
I recall hearing that they were looking into some sort of blockchain payment system for seeders to encourage them to share. Not sure if implemented, or just cashing in on a meme. Sounds interesting though. I suspect the overheads from Tor-like routing might be a big disincentive in itself to using Tribbler, though time will tell. It may be possible (thinking ideally) that it could form a sort of "backbone" to the torrent system, perhaps, that is, it gets used by "supernodes", but most users use more standard clients that feed from other users and "supernodes".
omgg this is the best website ever than kfuck i finally found a nyaa.se alternative... horrible subs has literally no anime even if like has like 1000 serieses TYYY :D
Tried it a long time ago, it might have improved, but when I installed it it was a resource hog and also downloads a lot of torrents you don't actually need because of its descentralized nature. They could have just saved some metadata (like name) and magnet hashes into a sqlite db and used them when you start the download (if the torrent is dead, it wouldn't matter anyway) but no, they had to dl hundreds or thousands of actual torrent files. Kinda off topic, but thats also a reason I won't use zeronet, because of its trash implementation it stores 10s of thousands of json files with info that could have been stored in a db instead. Also, regarding tribler, it routes some of its traffic through your pc, a bit like tor, so you might be found liable if it is some shady shit like CP. There was and article about that on torrent freak. They even mention on the site anonimity is not 100% complete.
HEVC kills the fine details and fine grain effect that is only preservable with a *high* bitrate. So any bit-starved HEVC or even AVC encodes (below 2.5 GB per episode) ruins quality. So in other words, if no need for HEVC if your watching 1080 mini encodes.
