UploadOcean files expire after 7 day with no download. Max size 4GB. So bad.

His privacy or his users? Hosting providers generally don't keep track of the hosted website's visitors.
I'm not really willing to dump a whole load of files on someone who's just starting out though - I do appreciate the suggestion and the effort you've gone to, but I feel it may be too harsh on the owner (and long term viability is a concern).

Depends on feedback I suppose.
Obviously a host needs to be automation friendly to some extent.

(I'm rather fond of not doing stuff if I can avoid it, which means I don't really want to go to the effort of implementing a host if it's going to disappear the next day, or if no-one likes it.)

Good riddance imo. I hope rapidgator goes away too. They're obviously punishing free users to the max.
Some stuff will be lost when they go down but people will adapt. Hell, many already have.

Uploaded is dying under the pressure of Deutschland's court and K2c and Rapidgator should be avoided at all costs. Even Sendspace and NitroFlare (which is crap in free mode due to caped download speed of 25kBps!) are great compared to K2c and Rapidgator (in free mode)!
