What do you want in a summer anime?  Sports? Blood?  Cooking with teacher?

I'd say Berserk.  Everyone has been talking about it.  And apparently the animation technique is such that you can realistically feel the pain with every frame.  When their eyes spout blood, so might yours.

So umm... what anime would you recommend for summer this time?

Been a few months since I last watch an anime.

It's not worth endangering the site for this.

Where did he mention that CNL is not adequate for Direct links?
I'm sorry if I overread it...

The "Encrypted Download"-links with the correct passwords would be awesome!

Thanks. Jdownloader is able to get links that are in the ipv4 site too!

So I've been trawling through logs to see if I could figure it out.
From what I can tell, the IPs are actually different, though it's likely not obvious to you. It appears that your browser is accessing this site via IPv6, but your downloader only supports IPv4.

If you could somehow get a downloader that supports IPv6 (or downgrade your browser to use IPv4) it should work for you.

Edit: okay here's a workaround, try https://ipv4.animetosho.org/ and see if the links work there.
* you will get an SSL security warning - just skip past it (if your browser lets you)

There aren't really any defined limits for those, so I can't really give you an answer.
The server hosting /req data has a 2TB disk, but it's unlikely all of it will be available for that purpose.

As admin suggested earlier, jd2 Linkgrabber is completely adequate for everything except Direct and /req.  You're talking about occasionally saving a few people a few seconds of waiting.

Yes it did. And the req page? The data (anime requestd) on that page? It uses 500GB updates server or it has a different storage?
(and the direct links?)

Thanks for the info.
Do you know if your browser and downloader are running over different IPs?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking for, but if it answers your question, the disk size on the main servers that run this site:
- web server (this website): 10GB
- storage server (attachments, screenshot thumbnails etc): 100GB
- updates server (torrent processing): 500GB

I still don't really like the idea of sending POST requests to other servers (you don't know what's listening on port 9666), but I'm willing to consider it I guess.

What are you looking to grab exactly? Links for all files in a torrent for one particular host?

JDownloader picks up nothing when I paste the link.

This old manager I use, Orbit Downloader, isn't able to initiate download

Links do have a timeout.
No state (i.e. cookies) is otherwise used though, so links copied into downloaders *should* work.
What error do you get when you download a link via a download manager?

There isn't any relation with Tibb's site.
I'm not sure if you'd call it a feature. I just happen to have a server which isn't really doing anything, which is why it exists. If I choose to do something else with it, it could disappear.

Oh didn't see that.

But the POST-request are only sent to the local JDownloader-instance (-> 127.0.0.1:9666).
(No third-party involved, which was the main concern)

How about Click'N'Load 2?
It supports passwords (for the archives) and it does not require a third-party site to work.

I will try out that FreeDownloadManager in a few days.

Links without file extensions still typically show up in JDownloader for me. It finds the file within it and it'll usually pop up. Putting direct links and trying a "deep analysis" from link grabber got nothing for me.

Pasting any links from /req directly into a download manager hasn't worked for me so far. However, you can just randomly paste it into any browser and the download will start. I copied and pasted from firefox to chrome and the download initiated, so that was unexpected.

Opening a private browser and trying that didn't work after so much time passed, so I guess there's a timeout?

JDownloader doesn't recognize either the Direct or the /req links.   After all, I don't think those links have file type extensions.

Instead:

/rec: A good way to batch download the /req links is with mouse-drag selection (form a rectangle) with FreeDownloadManager then right click and choose to download the selected items.

Direct links: A good way is single select with FreeDownloadManager.  I think you can simultaneously download only a few files at a time due to external limits, but you'd have a hard time associating files with their passwords in a big batch anyways.

It was mentioned in the past.
The conclusion I came to was pretty much a no, due to its complexity and forced reliance on a 3rd party.
Is this just to make it easier to add a batch of links? I recall JDownloader having some link grabber option - does that work?

I just tried episode 6, which seems to work at the moment.
I'm not exactly sure why the direct links mess up every now and then (files are stored externally so I don't have much control over them going missing). Most I can suggest is just keep trying them every now and then, a suggestion I regret making...
