I haven't tested Firefox 23 yet, so thanks for the heads up. I read the announcement before, and thought that images wouldn't be an issue, but the full image is actually loaded in an Iframe (to allow browser scaling controls to be applied). Now that I think about it, it does make sense to block Iframes to insecure sources (they're actually images, but there's no way for the browser to actually tell without fetching the resource).
I suppose I'll just remove the fancy image viewer thingy - I never really liked it that much anyway...
Assuming that these are people just trying to abuse the system here, I might get around to hiding these, as well as implementing some other filters. AT isn't really the place for general torrent fetching, so I don't want to encourage it.
Not implying anything, but since I only do anonymous uploads, it would be a 1000MB limit. I'd actually probably do the splitting at a smaller boundary - larger files have a higher chance of failing, plus the smaller split size is a bit more compatible with interchanging between hosts.
At the moment we already upload to quite a number of hosts and I have to be careful of available upload bandwidth, so this will probably be something in the future. But thanks for pointing it out!
Under the just released FireFox 23 the AT preview picture close-ups are now blocked by a "mixed content blocker".
1. Users can get around this block on a per page basis by clicking on a shield in the address window for each picture you want to see (ugh!)
2. Admin, for simplicity can anything be done at this end about mixed content issues?
3. Users can disable this new safety feature completely but Firefox says you shouldn't. (Open new tab, type in "about:config". Look for "security.mixed_content.block_active_content" Click so it reads "false" instead of "true. Close tab.)
There have been reports that it blocks Wikipedia content sometimes also.
No whitelist options, lots of grumbling in FF user blogs about this new "feature".
Didn't you read what I just wrote? -.- luckily I had both files in my hdd and I could seed them, otherwise both torrents would have failed the processing again.. anyway, don't post ancient torrents like those and especially don't post dead torrents, because it doesn't make any sense (it only causes lag to animetosho) especially now that we're in major troubles with both server and site providers.
Probably some random Anon wanting download links for it cause maybe they don't have a seedbox to maintain a good share ratio on Bakabt or something. Or they got terrible down speeds downloading via torrent....or something.
That's an awful lot of work for your Chinese cartoons, this site work automagically using admin's bot and script powers, not by the accumulation of free time and unnecessary account formations'
in mega one free user has 50gb how about this then every user who wants to download from mega sign up on mega always looged in whenener anybody submits mega links instead of downloading first import it to your account now you have full access to your files now even if the man uploader removes files from their account atlest one user have the links just ask your friends at this way anyone can share anypne can have it !!!!! and the main uploader can removed the most oldest files from their account just one account will be able to hold everything ???
Jheberg was having a lot of people use their service at once and created a big queue. With the restructure of their website they changed their method of uploading (good for them, bad for us) and that is mainly why their was a delay for all files.
i dont know why everyone is so obsesed with mega! well anyway make it clear it to me http://poll.pollcode.com/tx536 what quallties you want and i will try to upload them on mega! Check my series list that are already being uploaded via tixati channel dsc:kay2ymz57fapnmodyuhs4r7s6r2ogu6daebul72raaqlyzvk4i2q?dn=Latest%20Anime%20Releses Sorry to be mean here but list can only be accessed at the channel cuz more than 7devhost accounts have been Banned already becuase of randomly link sharing on blogs and facebook.
in order to upload on mega login is necessary for both embedupload and jheberg a free mega account comes with 50GB storage limit which will be full in a day as there are alot of files being uploaded hourly xD
try it before saying so its the best option who wants speed without using irc i have recieved 5MB/s speed with IDM while same time 3MB/s with IRC best better than devhost though they remove ddl link very soon.......24hour i guess the main point of using irc is to get them as they releases
