Admin, a small thing, perhaps: I like to look at the preview pictures but it's a bit of a pain to look at all 5 on a page: view, return, view, return, view, return, view, return, view, return. Is is possible to set it up so we can go directly from preview1 to preview2 to preview3 etc. Sort of like Picassa's quick view, if you're familiar with that.
2MBps is all I can get with my ISP, lol. But that's good enough. There's really no point for me in switching hosts cause I get all the features I want in Anon.
Exactly. Those files weren't seeded because they're very old releases (and I wasnt fast enough at updating the web seed.. xD), the Railgun torrent is stuck at 99% because a piece of epi 18 is missing (the web seeded file was damaged), the only person with the original file of epi 18 recently couldn't use the internet so he cannot seed it, that torrent shouldn't have been used (I'd never thought someone would upload it on tokyotosho /facepalm), if your script is still searching for the seed, I think the processing should be stopped because nobody can seed the last piece of epi 18 for now, so it's a waste of resources.
I can understand it without feedback/comments, but only A+ and trusted is stupid. There are quality releases from those who don't have trusted status. Now, if it's filtering out remakes that's a different story.
Hmm, interesting. I'm not quite sure what you exactly mean by broken, but I'm assuming that this person managed to submit the torrents before they were initially seeded?
This database is somewhat tied to TokyoTosho's so it would actually be best to have it removed there (if possible). Alternatively, when you have working torrents and have submitted them to TokyoTosho, notify me, and I can mark the above as deleted. If the bot doesn't automatically fetch the new torrent, I can also force fetch them.
Hope that helps and thanks for all the explanation.
Hi guys I'm RanD from Hi10Anime and I'm managing the torrent files, in the last week some dead/bugged torrents were uploaded, the person uploading them is just one of the many people who don't know how torrents and animetosho work, they used the direct url from our server which is going to change IP next week and all those torrent files won't be reachable anymore, these files are mostly the bugged ones:
I was going to fix the torrent files in order to upload them correctly but this person didn't wait, I'm very sorry for the trouble and I'm already working on a way to prevent things like this from happening again, if you've time to remove these bugged submissions I would be very grateful, otherwise I still love you and your site a lot!
People around here seem to like Mega so much. While it is great, it only allows up to 6 connections. My DL speed never goes up to more than 1.1MBps which sucks. I suggest going for Anonfiles (Max speed, I'd get around 2+MBps) (resume supported, heck I paused a DL and resumed it after 2 days and it still worked) (download manager supported, I use IDM). The only thing is the 500MB limit, but for me, that's just a minor thing.
Poor troll, illiterate , rude and a lecturer who can not spell. Do go back to school and stop trying to be a smart ass, you are a moron as shown by your lack of grammar and dirty language. You respond rudely to hide your stupidity, and not very well either.
One without feedback/comments would be nice, also only A+ and trusted only links. The main reasons are these : Endless amounts of re-encodes are on the links, idiots saying cunt every word, groups moaning about being slagged off , endless requests for links to pushed, and all the usual nonsense and annoyances that would not be need to be read.
I could try it, but EmbedUpload requires registration and their registration policy looks quite strict. They claim that all uploads need to bring at least 20 visits to their site; with the volume of stuff posted here, I can't guarantee that...
Thanks a lot for the time and effort you put in this site. Is there a chance to fetch at least some of the shows that were distributed during downtime? A search for "shingeki" now brings up very few results, the latest from 31 July.
Mega is very different from most hosts, so handling them would be difficult because it doesn't fit in to the rest of the processing chain I have set up. I can try some other things, but I don't think they'll be uploaded to directly any time soon unfortunately.
thank you for your explanation. I think animetosho must have another channel like twitter or facebook to inform about the status like downtime because not everyone familiar with irc channel :)
Apparently the host had some hardware failure, which took them longer to fix than they expected (or rather, a lot longer). Once fixed, I got the server back but the file system was damaged somewhat. Host moved the server to another node to fix hard disk issues, but this server was still broken (random files were missing/corrupt). As I can't really tell what exactly has been broken, I decided to rebuild the server. This got delayed because their rebuild system was partially broken. But eventually I got it rebuilt and everything seems to be working at the moment.
