I've download some attachment files, but some files cannot be opened with WinRAR/7z since it said that it's corrupt [of course i've download the corrupt file many times too to check if my connection has a problem]. For sample file : https://storage.animetosho.org/attachp...chments.7z
They release, we get. It's automatic for the get, it's when it happens for the releases.
If you specifically mean the C-W releases, I learned last spring that C-W was a one-person operation when he got knocked out by a storm. One person operations tend to have variability (family events, sister changes channel, school, etc.). And he doesn't announce release times. He just releases when he does, which is also true for practically all fan-subs.
On attachments topic: I don't think .xy archives is a good idea. I never heard about them before, but that's not a problem. What bothers me is that if i download some "track3_und.ass.xy", and then the other "track3_und.ass.xy" the second one is saved as "track3_und.ass-1.xy" which makes extension of file inside broken ("track3_und.ass-1"). It's not a big problem of course, but I'm unable to open it in notepad++ just by opening archive and doubleclicking the file (as i used to). Thanks for animetosho service, it's very convenient.
For your convenience, here's a link to 7-zip, the free unzip utility many of us use. It is open-source and has no advertisements, add-ons or "pro" upgrades:
There are other new shows not on the episodes page yet, like Blade and Soul. It's best to get new series from the homepage.
I'm not sure if the lag is a one-time thing due to a recent hard drive failure, or is inherent in how the episodes page works for new series (classifications), but either way.
But it's nice to hear people are interested in the episodes page. --------------------------------------- Mushishi was just added to the eps page. And Blades and Soul and other new series.
Please change the posting of the separate subtitle file back to a plan text dump. It's faster, less messy clean up, and it worked already.
It didn't really work that well - subtitles over 1MB would never get shown. I may write an on-the-fly decompression module on the storage server, but the trade-off is higher bandwidth usage (and the effort required to implement it, which isn't trivial). But is decompressing a file that difficult? On Windows it's just a right-click, Extract. On Linux or similar, just a xz command (can do the same on Windows if you install the xzutils).
As for the compressed archive of the sub file and all attachments, please keep it to the older version of compression that used to be in use. Was there really any need to change that? Breaking things that were working...
Xvid used to work, but fansubbers moved to H.264, and then Hi10P. With that in mind, I'm not terribly concerned about keeping compatibility with software more than 3 years old. Is it that difficult to install a new version of software?

Well, some people cannot use P2P and needs direct download link.
Yeah my ISP sucks, but all other ISP available in my area restricts P2P, so got no choice. At least AT gives the most mirror link and uploads to a lot of good sites with great download speed for free users like devhost, anonfiles, multiupload, sockshare, firedrive and many others.
Please try to fix this by 5th. Many new awesome anime coming out on 5th. And i don't know any source more reliable than Anime Tosho to download them from!

Oh man, I think theres a lot of new animes out tomorrow.
What a bad time for the disk to break down. Hope you can fix it soon. AT is the best site.
You'd be better to cheer yourself up, sir. I couldn't even join the fun. Since the day before yesterday is a hellish no animu day for me, therefore I couldn't visit AT. ;_;
lol I love how there are maximum torrent sizes and expiry dates listed when the torrents are fetched from Nyaa or TokyoTosho, which anyone could just easily grab it from there. Nice try, guys.
Holy sh*t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been waiting for this since ages! OUT OF THE BETA STAGE! Do I get a loyalty badge or something? And perhaps a 6-month premium membership for free?
I miss mega.co.nz QQ, but I still love this site though uptobox is and devhost are my favorites.. P.S are we allowed to upload whenever we want to ? like in comments.
Is it so hard to click on the series name and go to either MAL, ANN, AniDB, or AnimeNfo and find the info on one of those sites?
I do understand where you're coming from and all, sometimes it's easier if all the info is on the 1 page, but the titles match what the torrent submitter put. Sometimes if you check out the 'Article' section it will match the title the subgroup had for the blogpost on their website. If not you can go to the website and check what was written in the post and if it is the final episode it should be clear. You can always go to animetake/animefansftw and dao/smf will write "final" in the title for the episode.
I'm getting severe packet loss from the server - I'll need to bug the host to get them to fix it. Unfortunately this means that subtitles and thumbnail previews will be unavailable until it comes back. Sorry for the inconvenience.
