Starting on the 27th Rapidshare is changing things up, read it here: https://rapidshare.com/#!rsag_news Overview: 30GB of traffic per day and files in a shared folder accessible by only selected contacts
So don't be surprised if you no longer see RS or have to wait a day for the limit to be reset.
I'm eventually (soon it seems like) I'm going to have to change hosts...
It's a bit disturbing I agree, but unfortunately, there's not that much that can be done here. Disabling comments wouldn't stop them from sprouting up elsewhere. I don't mind discussion, but do hope that they contain worthwhile content rather than pointless bickering.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the comments made here, whether it's for interesting tidbits of information or issues shared by others. Some of them turn out to be somewhat less desirable, though these seem to be the minority at the moment, and it's one of the tradeoffs you make with open commenting I guess. If you think they're totally worthless though, I can't imagine it being too difficult to simply ignore them.
Thanks for putting your concern through nonetheless. If you do have any other suggestions I'm always interested to hear them.
It seems they deleted our account, so presumably all FileCloud links are dead. This is one of the reasons I generally don't like services that require you to register - it's too easy for them to simply delete your account.
I'd say that ideally, the miniHD versions should include chapters and multiple subtitle tracks, but I guess people don't really bother. I suppose that including multiple fonts can get large too.
Also check the nyaa source link to check its under english translated anime ,occasionally files like these https://animetosho.org/view/xfsub-naru...p4.n371945 slip through that are under non-english translated anime.HS 480p releases are hardsubbed if i remember rightly as well.
Horriblesubs are softsubbed,if you want to stream type mp4 into the searchbox and look for the episode.A lot of them of those [deadfish, youshikibi, etc] hardsub & re-encode other groups stuff to a lower quality & mp4 so they will play on media devices that don't support softsubs or mkv.If you you click on the File Name (Size) info link on the Episode you want to watch and there is no Text ID info [ass/ssa/srt,VOB,PGS,etc] info showing then it is most likely hardsubbed and will should stream okay.
Hmmm. I used PutLocker for Zutsuen no Tempest, but it didn't work, tried it for Code Breaker and it worked (both from HS). So I'm assuming that not all shows they do are hardcoded. I also tried out several DeadFish releases and all of them worked, so if you do run into an issue they should fine.
Some fansub groups prefer to use soft encoded subtitles for their releases for various reasons. If you would like to use PutLocker, you should check whether or not the subtitles are hardcoded - which means it would be integrated with the video. I believe that [HorribleSubs] are all hardcoded and thus would be viewable on PutLocker. I hope this helps!
I didn't bother reading it. There is no reason for me to discuss that kind of stuff on here. Like the admin said, there are other (and better) places to have those discussions. Your comment almost convinced me to go back up and actually read it though.
i don't get it, it's even mentioned Universal Declaration of Human Rights, tsundere and Pokeballs, actually i'm amazed how can all of you connect all of them in one topic...
Well i am not "newer folk",i have been watching anime since before fansubbing was going & used to have series on VHS.I am just not that well acquainted with the Anime lingo that kids use these days and not a big user of forums.I will try the shows you mentioned though and see what your getting at with the Tsundere comments. Thanks for the suggestions .
Oh and Doki and Hadena --would you please go find a love-hotel somewhere? All this petting in public is embarrassing. And we have Pokemon fans here, you know...
I'm sorry, but there has been a misunderstanding. There is a basic rule at Anime sites which older folk like me are supposed to explain to newer folk like you. That rule is that all comments at an Anime site without exception are to be interpreted in Anime terms only. In this case, without knowing it you have encountered your first anime “tsundere love”. And it sounds like someone here has the hots for you in a big, big way! Maybe even more than one.
In order to respond properly to this tsundere love you'll need to watch lots more anime. Reading the signals and making the right responses is very complicated and occasionally lethal. I suggest you begin with Bakemonogatari to learn about the amazing“Tundra Tsundere”, and then watch Mayoi Neko Overrun!! to learn about the more common “Die Twice!!” and contrary varieties.
However you decide to respond to these gestures of love, please be gentle.
What if you have a username on an anime site [which most require] and you made a comment that annoyed someone and they started flaming/trolling sites using your username to make you look stupid and nasty. The same applies to any site,it's a form of online bullying to try and belittle & annoy people. It is not okay to act like that towards people even if it is only online,it would not be tolerated in real life.

Who cares if it's the same person or different? I don't.
Flame wars should be on 4chan or some other forum board. Sub group bashing belongs on there, not an anime mirroring site. It's not like real conversations happen in the comments for files anyway. It would be no big loss.
Yes , you are right. It should have some limits ,but anime is a trivial matter and not worth the same scrutiny as those things you mentioned. Also ignore the comments below using the same username, its obviously a sad troll using the name i posted to try and act funny while showing there mental maturity because they couldn't give a serious answer and had no reasonable reply due to having no education or moral upbringing.

While free speech is nice, it does have its downsides, like everything else. It should have its limits. If you really want full free speech, do you really want stuff like the Ku Klux Klan around? Or how about NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association)? There should be a limit. Words can be empty, but they could also be followed by action. Words are powerful.
As for the fansub preference nonsense, yeah, there's no need for people to bash each other over what's good and what's not. Not comments necessary on files because like it was stated before, v2s, notes and whatever are on the fansub's page and viruses are obvious.
Free speech is a law in good ol America. We go and do that in the middle east and get ourselves killed. Lol. Shucks. But fuck you and take my morality as I force it down your thoat.
Please elaborate what was wrong with the statement .Free speech is a given law ,if you don't like it then it's tough shit and people can and will say what they like, regardless of simpletons like yourself telling them they cannot and calling them wrong without providing any sufficient proof.
Actually there is no need for chapters.. They can be used to skip opening/ending in MPC but i use different player and never even used it either. it's just came to my mind when i was posting that comment.
For fonts.. if there is lot of work then no need.. but if you ever consider doing it, then i think adding rule for only first episode can do the job too. because most of the time subbing group use same fonts in all episodes - maybe one or two new in some episodes but normally they used same styles/fonts. So if first episode of any group release can zip all fonts and upload to dropbox, that will work very fine.
I have downloaded miniHD encodes of Girls und Panzer but the group is commie which i hate with passion.. I was thinking to replace them with hiryuu, so i downloaded first episode to get fonts. That's the reason i suggested this feature.. again if there is too much work then it's okay.. downloading first episode for font's is not that difficult and thanks for the subtitles feature again. :)
Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948, states that:
"Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers." That includes your Anime [media]and fansubs, stop whining or create your own download site that you restrict peoples opinions on if you do not like the laws.
So are you both affiliated with those groups or don't you like anyone to have an opinion then?. The supposed don't comment on groups you do not like thing applies to comments you don't like either,it's quite obvious that you needn't need to act so immature and moan at everything you disagree with .Free speech is not an American made law is a good in this day & age.
ungrateful chipmunks should be squished, and yeah, more info and notes could be found on the fansubbers site. so i don't think there's any real need for comments other than here at this feedback (or whatever it is)

Hey admin, could you do something about these ignorantfucks on the Doki and Hadena files? It's getting annoying to see ungrateful bastards all over here. You should disable comments on individual files because it's pointless. Virus files are obvious and anything big could be seen on the fansubber's page. Comments on files is a heaven for dumbass trolls.
lol.. i never notices coz I grabbed the torrent as soon as it came out. though i have filecloud premium till end of next year.. hmm... time to find things i missed
Not really unfortunately. Antivirus is rather hit and miss most of the time, and there's a number of trivial things which can be done to fool it... such as encrypting the virus payload. I'm aware of the recent stuff that's been posted, and I'd like to somehow filter them out, but I can't see any nice way of doing so.
As harsh as it may sound, if someone is gullible enough to try to run one of these, chances are they'll be fooled by something similar elsewhere if it was filtered out here. Education really is the best way around these things.
If you do have some other ideas though, I'm interested in them.
is it possible to pass strange file through antiviruses or such online sites before they appear here? like archives with strange encryption and passwords.
