I beg you, please no. That site is a bit heavy with scripts and that tells something about the developer. Most will probably not even notice it. It's probably not a big deal for some, but AnimeTosho being light-weight actually counts for something.
Plus, AT being light-weight while still being able to do what script-heavy sites do is a proof of the creator's talent. Every byte counts. Even more so when you usually open like 30-40 tabs in your browser (like me). ^_^
Joining projects together may sound pretty cool, though I find in practice it's often very difficult to do. I don't know about their script (can't really even find information on whether they're using a script to add stuff), but I know the script used here was never really developed to integrate with anything else. And there's a heap of other issues, for example, someone will have to do some rework, and it's not particularly a pleasant thing to do, or how user databases get merged etc. Some people may also want to have a sense of self ownership over the website, which somewhat gets lost with a merging.
I am, however, willing to attempt some cooperative behavior, but only if I can see reason for it. An example would be the NZB links to Fanzub - a nice place which indexes them if you prefer using it. From what I can see from the shanaproject, it looks mostly like TokyoTosho but a bit more organised? If you just imagined this site with that level of organisation/layout, it's probably easier to just add it to the script here (which I plan to do some time later) than it is to attempt some kind of merge.
Hmm, looks like TokyoTosho got fed up with their unicode wrapping methods and now insert spaces into titles to force wrapping :P Anyway, thanks for pointing it out, fixed now.
You guys should work with http://www.shanaproject.com/ and collaborate on some ultimate site for downloading anime, through ddl/rss, you guys both use scripts to help the community, maybe together you guys can achieve moar!
Merry Christmas Guys i just wanted to say that , cause i dont know where else i can say it on this site ~ xD !!!! Thank you for all your hard work you guys are awesome, keep being awesome and awesome ! Happy an awesome christmas :) !!! and a Great New year !
Could you please add a favicon to the site, just looking through my bookmarks and this was the only bookmark without one. This site http://www.favicon.cc/ lets you make simple ones , i tried it out and uploaded my attempts here http://www.multiupload.com/VDTLVTH4DQ .You could probably make some better ones than me, but i just thought i would try it out.
Thanks for the notice (hopefully the auto link checker picks up the dead links).
Raws are generally big, is probably the main reason I'm avoiding them (means more splitting and longer download/upload times). I think some others have asked for it, so I may take it into consideration, though only if I get a decent server to process it.
-edit- missed the 720p part. I can't seem to find any such thing on TokyoTosho unfortunately. I see it here, so someone will have to post it on TokyoTosho for it to appear here.
I think #3 is a bit hard to really do, especially with files being removed by hosts and whatnot. So I'm doubting you can get much of a library of DDL files here, and thus AT will focus more on recent stuff.
I would imagine that if you're doing the request, can't you suggest which host uploaders use? The problem with allowing arbitrary file requests is bandwidth usage (as well as server congestion trying to handle them), which isn't free.
Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai 05 [Howard] BD 720p Vorbis [162A2F94].mkv mediafire links down I like this site! I know this is an anime site (subbed ones), but can you do it for the raws too? Or upload raws for here? Or gimme a site where I can download raws on ddl (I hate fileserve, filesonic & uploadstation). Thanks! :D
A few advantages i can think of .1}Most forums don't support a lot of sites like you and are starting to just use Fileserve to get money despite slower download speeds the site has. 2} I suggested because you already have the script to get TT links and the multi hosts are much better for downloaders who get restricted speed from some other sharing forums who don't upload to the sites you add links on.3}It will help the site to have a larger collection of series/movies you may have missed .
Most items are on MediaFire. Do note that you have to be patient and wait for them to appear - MF is slower than other hosts. Also, because the updates server went down recently, the effect is currently a bit compounded at the moment.
Plan to eventually, in some fashion :) At the moment, there won't be that many complete shows yet - you can just look at the current 'season charts' around the place for what's likely to be here.
Really like the multi-file hosts including megaupload.A request section for stuff on TT that you haven't added a mirror for yet would be a good idea and a nice addition if you could add a page for it.
I'm not really into social networking, so I won't do that, however, you're free to do it if you wish. You can filter the RSS by anime if you wish (use the aids= parameter, or click on a series page and check for the RSS feed there).
This website is the best of its kind, it seriously keeps up with the latest anime unlike most... Also the service (multiple file hosts) is awesome!! Also very good for the fokes having a premium subscription at a file host :)
Hi, Can you create a facebook fan page to your website and use an rss reader to post new uploads to the fan page and if there is a rss for each anime it will be the best ever
