Hi! Thanks for the site!

Torrents uploaded today after 15:48 UTC result in a 404 nginx error.

Unfortunately there's no easy/reliable way to identify files in a torrent that match files which have been processed here, so that can't really be done.

Easy way is on the left side of this page just under the Time is a styles drop down. Why do it the harder way?

No, it's pretty cute as it is, just you can change the theme if you don't like it, there's a "ant[theme]" cookie with a number id for which theme it uses, enable javascript or look at source code for the listing of themes.

Thank you, all. Their download button was returning an "Operation not allowed" error. That was the first time I'd ever seen it. However, it does appear to be functional again. Have a nice weekend.

Yes, krakenfiles been doing that for a while. It's not broken just slow.

For large batches, only torrents are usually offered, not NZBs. It would be nice if the NZBs for the episodes that are in the batch could be merged and offered alongside the torrent, since they already exist for the individual episodes. This is just an NZB file operation, nothing needs to be uploaded to Usenet, as the files are already there. Just their NZBs should be merged.

A random example is:

https://animetosho.org/view/subsplease...h.n1987726

Which is from:

https://nyaa.si/view/1987726

Every single episode on the file list has an NZB on Tosho, so they could be automatically merged into a single NZB. On my own machine, I use this tool to merge NZBs manually:

https://github.com/abusenet/nzb

It's just a case of running:

nzb combine *.nzb --out merged.nzb

Not sure what you're on about. The theme changes default every quarter. If you set it to what you like it will retain that in the cookie until the next quarter. If your browser is set to dump cookies on closing then that''s your problem.

88.5% of website designers reported that ‘Flat design’ is currently the most popular web design trend. It’s a simple design style that uses two-dimensional elements and bright colors. https://www.wpbeginner.com/research/we...st-trends/

If you register a name (real easy) you can set your timezone.
Comment in Feedback
22/07/2025 18:40 — Anonymous
IMO it does not even need a setting.
Just output a UTC epoch time in some hidden attribute on each timestamp and format it using a little JS on the client, it will use the system timezone.

They asked for solutions, they already had them. What they didn't have is a way to connect without VPN or workarounds and now it's already fixed by the admin.

Thanks for the info!
It looks like you have something else going on, that is, not the IPv6 issues also reported here (as you're connecting over IPv4).
The traceroute showing everything being dropped after the first hop leads me to believe the issue is likely with your ISP.
Are you able to access https://storage.animetosho.org/ ?

This page seems to show some possibly outdated info with UK ISPs.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the investigation.
I suspect the host has done something with their networking, possibly blocking some ICMPv6 packets. I've lowered the MTU temporarily, which seems to resolve the issue (whilst I investigate futher).
Can you confirm whether IPv6 works for you now?

Yeah. we heard you. I'm not here to moderate. You already told us what your problem is. Since, I don't manage this site. I can only say wait for the admin. I know nothing. and so do you. So, stop being an ass.

No need to backseat moderate, you dont know anything about the problem.

I'm getting a connection timed out error on the main site: https://animetosho.org/

But can access the site through  https://ipv4.animetosho.org/ or through VPN. so something was wrong. If you cant actually provide a solution dont bother talking to me

Lol this is a pretty important issue, basically went unacknowledged until some guy came in yesterday talking about it, should be addressed. If 40% of ppl cant access the site w/o VPN because of some server or connection issue, it should be addessed. Some other person below is claiming that the IPv6 connection is broken, so yeah it should be dealt with. People like this site and don't want to see it go, I thought my ISP was censoring Tosho, but no it's a problem on Tosho's side of things. This literally could've been avoided if it was mentioned or addressed in here. Not like the news archive says anything. And nobody on Reddit or Twitter said shit. So I'm forced to come here. I got no other fuckin outlet.

Complaining doesn't solve anything, you should remember that he's doing this for free, the admin doesn't owe you anything. I can still access this site with no problems. maybe the problem is just on your end.

Yeah admin has a real life, so does everyone. But I think not being able to access AnimeTosho is a big fucking deal.

Seems like its an IPv6 issue on Tosho's backend? Thats what other people are saying? I've been having the same issues, cant connect without a VPN since I get a connection timed out. The site is acting up not sure why, would be great if the admin responded! It's clearly affecting other users!
