Because you honestly believe that the toxic people from AT aren't the same ones as those that were on Nyaa back then? I mean, to even be able to have the Luxury incident reference indicates that they were there at the time.
What attitude are you talking about? Replying to people on my releases page? That's more like customer client than anything. They're salty since 2022 and can't imagine that my releases are any good, so they'll trash them no matter what because I'm Luxury and I've made some fansubs back then that weren't to their taste. They don't even watch my stuff, I proved it numerous times.
So since I'm not fansubbing anymore, what could they be complaining for?
In my opinion, their only motivation is to bring hell/drama to the comment section and say "LUXURY" along with some hateful words so that (in their minds) people will instinctively go away from these releases when they see that name.
On other comment sections than my own releases, I think it's to bring Admin to ban me here as well and make me appear like the one responsible for the toxicity (like you're trying to do) but the fact is that even Admin sees through the strategy you're playing. ==> "I do think you could play a part and not get trolled so easily."
"Nothing is going to change unless you change", well maybe they should too (and look up a calendar, this is not 2022 anymore, move on).
Anyway, I'll start with my New Years resolution now, just wanted to address this message before moving on myself.

There's no such plans at the moment. As some have mentioned, I don't believe it would be particularly useful. My general experience is that toxic people tend to be willing to go to great lengths with bypassing restrictions.

How would that change anything to the Nyaanons toxicity in the comments section? It's a feedback thread for the site, not a complaint zone for individuals to cry about stuff. I've already hidden comments on my releases, here I'm just asking for a "2025" update on this question I asked last year.
Considering y'all can keep your mouth shut on a question to @Admin that was already answered by a "No" in 2024 (and that shouldn't worry you), just proves that ANYTHING is a subject for debate/toxicity.

Why would I care? Just like y'all can make new accounts, I can make a new one without any reference anywhere to NeoLX or Luxury, and you wouldn't know about it/wouldn't be able to tell. You cite the "toxicity" of Nyaa comments, but Nyaa comments are member only. So membership does not help what's ailing you. What you are looking for is heavy moderation of comments, which I don't believe is AT's mission.
I think you need to develop some thicker skin. Who is @anon? Do you mean the admin? Your idea of toxicity and others appear to be different. I don't take "unwelcomed" comments directed at me personally, I just shrug it off. Your whining to the admin just makes you look like a sissy-boy.
If you are unable to recognize the toxicity of comments—both directed at me and in general—it suggests there may be an issue with your perception. Allowing comments only from members helps moderation (timeouts, bans (from commenting at all, or on some criterias)), this is why many sites restrict comments to non-members.
As I mentioned, I will await @admin's response. He has a better understanding than either of us regarding the number of trolls and toxic individuals on the site, as well as whether this feedback needs to be addressed.

Are there any plans to limit commenting to "members only" in 2025?
There seems to be a significant presence Nyaanons (Toxic users) on AT, and I question whether manually removing harmful comments is an effective solution. Without restrictions, these individuals can continue to post even after their toxic comments are deleted.
Implementing a "members only" policy would enable you to impose timeouts or even ban problematic users, which I believe would enhance moderation efforts and save you time in the long run.

I saw that but I think it's been like that for a while. I don't want to make an account on their site so I'm blocked from seeing the "guts" and was wondering if anyone else had solid info.
Does anyone know if Erai-raws died? I'm a little worried after not seeing anything so far from them for this season. They really made great improvements last season so It'd be sad to see them go.
