Thanks for the info. I can do a daily dump of links and put them somewhere (probably similar to how database dumps are currently done). Let me know whether that works for you.
Update: I've added daily dumps of links to the database exports page - hopefully that's all you need. Thanks for all the help!
It will extend it for 30 days (which is the expiry time for all links).
What this does: - Extract the real file download link from the Zippyshare download page. - Download like a small chunk of the actual file (few bytes). - But according to zippyshare, this counts as the file being downloaded so the timer for that file is reset.
It's pretty straightforward. You just need to run a cron/scheduled job which checks when a particular link was added. If it is nearing expiration, reset the time and update the expiry to after 30 days.
It will work even on large scale. Though to avoid DoS for zippyshare, you can do it in batches. Overall scale doesn't really have much impact for the script. Also, you already have enough capacity servers to run something lightweight like this.
If you are interested, I am more than capable and willing to help you out with the setup.
I think this would improve animetosho experience for everyone :)
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm a bit uncertain with how well it works on a mass scale, and it'll only extend it for some period of time, but I can certainly give it a try. (or if someone else wants to try, I could look at seeing how links might be exported)
But zippy links get taken down if they get stale. I was wondering if you have a database of links you can automate and reset zippy uploads so they never get stale or taken down.
Yeah I dunno who the hell is posting under this name the last couple days but some truly awful subject titles have been in my usenet feed wtf, swastika shit too.

There are several Torrents that need removing from this site ASAP! absolutely disgusting
if anyone has a copy of Hare+Guu TV/OVA with English sub or dub could they upload it to nyaa or any of the others that are mirrored here at animethosho? the only way i found is to buy all of it from eBay for 700 dollars if you can thank you.

yo any of you guys listened to that new injury reserve album? i'm not a fan of experimental hip hop but ngl it's great. the chaotic sampling gives off a heavy sense of dread and listening to stepa j. groggs (especially in Knees) just hurts me, with the knowledge that he's no longer in this world. i highly recommend you guys check it out.
Nyahallo, thank you for maintaining this DDL website, admin(s)! I can't believe it's been 8 years since I first visited this website, time flies indeed. The look of the website still remains same and gorgeous-looking. It must be really hard to keep everything this intact. Love you all!
Thanks for bringing that up. From the logs, it seems like there was a lot of connection timeouts during that period. I also noticed that it seems to happen on days prior in the same time period (peak traffic time for Nyaa?), though not as extensive as this occurrence.
I see a few timeouts from Anidex around the same time (nowhere as extensive as Nyaa), but none from TokyoTosho, so I presume it's something on their side (maybe even DDoS-Guard) as opposed to AT's. Edit: actually I see a few instances of timeouts to check.ddos-guard.net, so this could be a DDoS-Guard problem.
Do you know if Nyaa was flaky around that time period? As I suspect DDoS-Guard, perhaps it's a region thing as well.
I like the website front-end. It's light and sleek without all the bloats of today's websites from ads to trackers to many scripts running in the background, wasting system resources.
Thanks! do you know anything about nyaasi, anidex, mangadex? I searched a bit and found that they are hosting in Offshore like shinjiru, ablehost, flaunt7, njalla... but I want to know exactly where.
Hi! i'm curious about something. i want to know where do you host this website? because it's illegal. and do you have any recommendation hosting provider for piracy
