IIRC, it was literally NeoLX/Luxury who wanted to identify anon using tags, but the admin refused that idea and now you have this idea to "must supply a name" if you wish.

I mentioned it before, but to reiterate, the change has absolutely nothing to do with NeoLX.

I'm not sure how often uploaders check comments here, and this site doesn't really track uploaders (particularly difficult given many Nyaa uploads are done as anonymous). I'll table it for now to see how much interest there actually is on this front.

It's designed to encourage you not to fill it with "Anonymous".

It used to be like that until NeoLX complains about it, now here we are.

This can possibly be improved by providing a comment feed page filtered by uploader. I'd comment on nyaa but nyaa has long since disabled registration. I am not an uploader.

I know it's far off-scope, but having tools to (git) diff subtitles from different releases would be useful, and you're hosting them anyway.
