On my first comment at the top of the page, I said that ADMIN could deny fetching this release because it'd be a waste of 17GB, the Anon does whatever the hell he wants, he's free to fetch him for himself.

Now Admin fetched it, so case closed, Admin wasted 17GB of bandwith, resources to up the release to DDL sites & extract frames/subs/audio/metainfo for a release that looks like this. So whatever, his waste.

Look, whether you call it chromatic aberration or chroma shift, it’s the same damn artifact in this case: misaligned color channels in the encode throwing those ugly fringing effects around edges.

That being said, you’re not denying these artifacts are there, and that’s my point: this encode is pure junk.

Many people use Seadex as an index of quality encodes and I have never seen any of yours listed there.

I think people who downloads mini encodes don't really care about visuals, and the admin doesn't seem to care either? so why are you getting worked up over this? You say that you don't trash people but calling this particular release "trash" "junky encodes" and "troll release doesn't really align with your intentions. How cute. Don't you have better things to do than picking over fights who just want to download anime for this site?

They factually do, but I gave the screenshots as proof of that, didn't go saying they are without backing up my claim.

I simply pointed out, with screenshots to back it up, that they’re bad encodes not worth wasting 17GB (Downloading + Uploading (DDL links), + Frame extraction + Subtitles extraction + Audio extraction + Metadata extraction on EACH files).

That said, I’ve got no issue with @Admin spending 17GB of data and his time downloading the release, or anyone for getting it either.

Saying an encode "looks absolutely" awful is no better than "X is crap", hope that helps.

Honestly, why even bother with x265 at this stage? Just have them switch to NVENC : it’d be just as bad, probably the same size, and way faster.

And about your comment that they "could’ve been debanded better"... come on! They clearly don’t care about how the visuals look, or they wouldn’t be releasing stuff like this. They’re not filtering out artifacts (or filter at all), they’re simply adding more of them!
