Hi there, here's a real solution to the problem that won't upset you:

The latest version of VLC has a known bug where OPUS audio tracks fail to decode. To fix that, downgrade VLC or use a newer Nightly build containing a fix for the bug. You can read more about it here. There are other alternatives but if you're only comfortable with VLC, just be aware you may encounter issues or have to try different versions.

VideoLAN certainly shares a lot of the blame for failing to provide working software after such a long time but everyone is also too quick to make false assumptions and accusations. With regards to this very common Surround OPUS audio playback issue, the "vee-ell-cee" link is unhelpful and misleading especially when people link it without any consideration. It's no wonder people are tired of seeing that link. Just link the official VLC Issue instead.

Hi admin. Just wanted to say thank you for keeping this site up for all these years!
For me the site is just perfect and I love everything about it: The fast loading times, lack of annoyances, clear focus on what is important and what is not, its style, the seasonal changes of the sidebar anime girl (or boy this time :D), this comment section, the lack of javascript, and of course all the core features around downloading, subs and screenshots.
