Ep.662: You'll notice ep663 is the first release by the group "Tetram".  All other releases up until now have been by "M-L" Subs, or "The Moonlighters".  The-Moonlighter's last release was ep661.  No doubt M-L ep.662 will be coming.  As for this ep663, the Raws are in for this episode, so a group just starting out could have decided to begin with the latest episode available.

Ep.662 is also missing at all the other usual locations.  It should show up soon, unless it was a recap.  Those get skipped sometimes.

According to the peeps list, they did a Kokoro Connect ep1 based on Horrible-Subs, but they did not do one based on rori-subs, as this file name claims.  In any case, look for the Horrible-subs based one.

Confirmed. Audio and video go out of sync after 18:24. Reuploading won't solve this problem. I would suggest to watch another group's release.

This is a strange offering:
1. The file sizes are too small.  Ep1 = 180MB, where AFFTW-Hatsuyuki and Nishi-Subs ep1 were about 400MB each.
2. None of the group names on the files (H2o-Shadow, GIB5) show up on AniDB in relation to Black Rock Shooter or any other projects.
3. What's with all the additional weird files in this zip?

Personally, I wouldn't download or unzip this puppy.  Instead, at the upper left corner of this screen there is a search box.  Type in "Black Rock Shooter" and find something more mainstream.

On the bright side, Nyaa reports 900 downloads of this so far with no comments yet, good or bad.

Let me amend that: Many people may not be able to tweak a computer to the same extent as I can/do.  If purchasing, probably an i5-second generation is a safer minimal bet for playback of all formats, including hi10p.

The conversion is handy.  The playback problem is really a hardware issue.  The ones who issue the h264 standards recommend a Sandy Bridge level of hardware (icore-3, 5, or 7, all second generation) to playback most of the h264 formats.  My experience is that even the basic laptop i3-2350M can do everything, although it can choke a little on 1080p-Hi10P, depending on content.

If you have a multi-processor laptop of some type, also try different video players.  They vary greatly in speed.  But a single-core cpu laptop probably can't playback hi10p.

Now the saddest truth of all: The on-screen and storage differences between Hi10P and 8-bit are absolutely trivial after all.

As of today (7/13) there have been 1,300 downloads of this reported at Nyaa with no comments.  Usually comments pop up when something is defective.  Maybe they will soon.

what the..? mediafire is suspended T^T

Even with updated codec packs, 10bit playback on my laptop lags. Thankfully I know how to convert 10bit to 8bit for better viewing on a laptop.
