This happened in some of my E01's this season due to using software I didn't test enough before rolling it out (you don't exactly expect audio issues like this to ever happen...), though you'll notice it doesn't happen in subsequent episodes. Be reassured I'll provide a v2 in the future batch

Technical reasons.

AV1 is designed so GOPs (Group Of Pictures, the sequence that starts with a keyframe) are multiples of a power of 2 + 1, so typically multiples of 8 + 1, 16 + 1 or 32 + 1 and breaking the frame hierarchy can result in unpredictable behavior (read quality inconsistencies).

240 - 1 is not divisible by either of these values so using it results in incomplete GOPs. Whereas 193 is 6 * 32 + 1 so it doesn't break the frame hierachy.

Funnily enough 241 would be a viable keyint when the GOP length is 8 or 16 since 241 - 1 is a multiple of both. It wouldn't work with the typical length of 32 though, only 225 and 257 would.

The decision to go with 193 specifically is one made when keeping seeking performance, efficiency and quality consistency all in mind. In my view, it's a nice balance of all three.

Well i have 1080p monitor too i see this video look's way better than cr maybe because of video sharpness he thought some details lost actually more details in this one and iqiyi use their own upscale model
