From: http://sphinxsearch.com/docs/current/e...yntax.html , quotes with asterisk inside it should works
"exact * phrase * * for terms"
I tried search with quotes here like "horriblesubs * isekai" but it return nothing. Just to point it out
16/07/2017 08:31 — admin
That's because there's nothing between those terms. Try something like "horriblesubs * wa" and see what you get.

I'm expecting a bunch of Direct links from most of 2015 to early 2016 to die at some point soon.
1fichier has been complaining about the amount of space being used on one of the premium accounts I use to host the files (containing around 29.8TB). I've been trying to download and transfer data out, but with the download speeds I get, it's not exactly fast.
The account has already been locked, but the files appear to still exist. They claim that the account will get wiped and then unlocked, but I don't know when that'll happen.

Google for Work < unlimited Drive space
20/07/2017 02:58 — admin
Thanks for the suggestion. It's unknown how long Google intends to keep its unlimited offer, but the main concern here is the cost, at $50/month. Other unknown is how many downloads it allows.

Also, Google for Education accounts.

Is there any safe place to host them for now? I have a server in France ( = top speeds to 1fichier) and can use it as an intermediate for a backup, but there's no way I can store that many TB locally. I could post them on Usenet but PAR2 generation would be extremely long and hinder the process. Any insight on this?
20/07/2017 03:14 — admin
Thanks for the offer! I'm actually already using a spare server to do transfers, and I suspect the transfer speed to be on 1Fichier's side. I suspect this because I'm getting much better upload
I've actually just been uploading to another account for now (weirdly, only this one account is receiving complaints), but I may need to reconsider as I suspect 1Fichier may start clamping down on storage usage across the board.

Usenet posting is a possibility for storage purposes, but it's a little more complex to set up and deal with, and not really an ideal substitute (but may have to suffice). I don't expect PAR2 generation to be a bottleneck if you're using an efficient implementation.
Nonetheless, in light of the "fun" email conversations I've been having with support, it's probably something I may look into. Alternatively, if someone's willing to donate an unlimited Google drive account, uploading there is an option.

Ultimately though, I don't really expect a long term solution for storing this amount of data.

Have you tried to use the import-feature of 1fichier?
That might help you to reduce traffic.
21/07/2017 19:44 *Anonymous
Files are deleted regardless.
23/07/2017 10:11 — admin
Are you talking about the URL fetch feature that 1fichier has?
I'm not quite sure what you mean: do you mean that you want users to import files into their account?
23/07/2017 11:09 — 6WY
When you are logged in (in another account you uploaded the file with) and you open the link of a file you can click "save in my account".
The file will be placed in the account you are currently logged in.
It's completely independent from the original file (new link, ...)
23/07/2017 11:50 — admin
Oh I didn't know about that.
Am a little worried that it may make it too obvious as to what's going on, though it may be worth a try.
Thanks for the tip though.

#Even a Pawn can take down a King#
I also wouldn't bet on that solution. The files will share the same storage block. It's unclear what 1Fichier's staff does, when "cleaning up" and the file (storage block) is referred by another account.

#Even a Pawn can take down a King#
Thanks for the note and the transfer operation (even it will rescue just a small amount of the ~30 TB storage).

Oi,
How to check the muxed mkv files to verify the file is synchronized?
I mean without manually playing it with any video player.
I muxed some mkv with mkvtoolnix.
20/07/2017 03:24 — admin
You mean subtitles or audio with video?
I presume these are also from different sources? Is there any reason why a mux would be out of sync?

For audio + video, the length may give an indication of sync, though you may have to dig around to find these.
However, I wouldn't rely on it. Checking with a video player is really the only reliable option. If the sources aren't different, checking the beginning and end is probably enough.

Is marriage life will ruin your weaboos life?
Anything. Recently I omitted english dub (with larger bitrates than japanese dub) and remuxed it. 4 out of 13 muxed files were unsynchronized and I repeated it to the corresponding files. And it is done well.

Same case as well if I embedded subtitles (after matched the timeline with aegisub.

that's the only way kid.
Trust nobody, not even your source.
That's why we have a job called Quality Check
20/07/2017 14:43 — Yogicat
Nyahaha! #FelineYogi@irc.rizon.net
Not the only way.
I would check it in Aegisub by loading the video and audio in it and check the scene changes to see if they match the audio.

Mwahaha. Thanks for the advice. I was guessed it is caused by hardware issues.
