Can we please get the site back to what it was without the excessive filtering? This site already has means of categorizing anime on the basis of series. It is entirely possible to miss some old shows because o this. Nyaa is not as organised as this website, although it does have an exhaustive list which is pain-staking to go through if you want to discover something new. That's where this site is better. The listings are organised date wise while in Nyaa, I can't see the date or time of upload on the listing page. This is useful in more ways than one.
Please consider putting the site back to how it was. Was pretty shocked when I woke up this morning to find out that only 7-8 shows were posted regarding today.

1st April 2013: Users have been complaining that we list too many files, making it difficult to find what they are looking for. We've thus decided to only display the most popular shows, making it easier for everyone to find what they're actually looking for. And if what you're looking for isn't shown here, try looking for something that is shown here. Oh, and TokyoTosho fetching has been temporarily disabled.

it is because you listed too many files that i got to choose which file i want to download :)
i think maybe a Point System will be better instead, where Users give Points to file they like more.
like thumbs up/thumbs down, letting the users rate which Fansub file they like/dislike more

for example: [Commie] Dokidoki! Precure - 09 [4860762F].mkv +25 points / -10 points
this way i think maybe complaining users will find it easier to find what they are looking for.

i am guessing that complaining users are confused which Fansub file they should download
so file with Higher + Points will maybe make it easier for noob users to know which file they should download.

only display the most popular shows, do you mean shows with high rating or A+ & Trusted Torrents on Nyaa?
does this mean we are forced to download less popular shows/untrusted torrents on utorrent?

even this didn't get fetched from Nyaa :(

pls make AT like it was before,It is fine the way is it before and because you are listing many file that we are able to check the most recent update.I come here everyday to check an anime update.For those who don't like the listing and can't find just scroll down and click older post and u will find ur favourite anime.If it just show the most popular shows then it's hard to find the show that unpopular.Just remember this everyone taste is different thus that does not mean the popular show is everyone taste.

You would be correct.
Yesterday, RAWs and some inappropriate content made its way onto this site by TokyoTosho, which admin removed, than followed up by disabling the fetching from TT.
Now, for nyaa I am unsure why it isn't fetching, either admin-san messed with his code, something on nyaas side, or the bots server is temp disabled/unforseen issue.

But do not doubt that admin-san will at some point correct it (I hope he participated in World Backup Day!)

Nyaa subtly changed their website code for some reason, which broke the parser for the script unfortunately. It should now be fixed.

TokyoTosho changed their page yesterday - seeing as it was just a one day change, I decided to disable fetching until they reverted it. I've now re-enabled fetching from TT, and fetched the stuff from yesterday, so all should be good now :)

How about some new file hosts Gamefront, Mediafire that have great speeds instead of these slow hosts for huge HD files is just ridiculous 685.4 MB at like 70 or 50Kbps is beyond cruel .

2GB per file. please upload without zipping if you decide to use it :)
no one will use mediafire anymore. they delete files/suspend acc fast, only 200mb per file & 10GB storage space. T.T

There are some very good sites admin has for free users. Try the direct link at multiupload (you can get great speeds - but not always there), FileWinds (up to 2Mbps once you register for free!), Anonfiles (fast but can sometimes corrupt the file), ChauThanh & Sharebeast (should give a decent speed).

The only thing I would want admin to do is update the selected hosts he uses for EmbedUpload - mainly I want the addition of BillionUploads (it's comparable to HugeFiles that Yogi and I provide)

Moving towards those who are thinking about letting EmbedUpload pickup Anon and GameFront,
For example using those hosts along with bay, billion, fichier, filerio, hip, netload, uptobox as selected hosts,

So he could use EmbedUpload to upload to anon and gamefront but at the sacrifice of having to 7zip it and get more users complaining (but increases longevity?)
Another issue arises is that when a certain file has to be split, Anon and GameFront has a limit of 500 MB so he would either make the split limit 500 MB for all of embed or leave it at 1 GB and not have those sites upload.

Well what I want, would be admin picking up every host I use so then I wouldn't do anything. tehehehe

I agree with dark, everything is fine.

You can't please everybody all the time, and I think you guys are doing an awesome job. For every 1 whiner there are probably dozens of people who really appreciate your services. Keep up the great work!!
