In one day a town is annihilated. Yuki is a young woman who is said to be the only person left alive from the town after the annihilation, and Takuya is a loner and a smuggler. Together, with the letter left by Yuki's father, they go toward the town, now called Lost, but unexpected obstacles stand in their path. The thoughts of those left behind, secret and mysterious organizations, and hidden conspiracies await Yuki and Takuya as they move closer toward the mystery behind Lost.

Note: The first three episodes received an early screening at a special event on April 1, 2019, at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo. Additionally, it was exclusively distributed on FOD (Fuji TV on Demand) ahead of its TV broadcast in three parts, with episodes 1-4 having been streamed on April 7, 2019, episodes 5-8 on May 5, 2019, and episodes 9-12 on June 2, 2019.
