Could be, but it looks like edited for style, font, etc.  not content.

And at 135MB for 720p, this version is bit-starved.  Part of the reason this group not allowed on Nyaa.

Good enough for some people, great.

It's edited. I've watched the episode. I watched from FTS though. animerg encodes, for people with slow net or limited bandwidth. So, it is going to be bit starved. But now FFF have their version up as well. So, you can go for FFF

I'd be interested in two things:
1. Does the FTS "Editor" have Japanese language skills?  It makes a huge difference between real textual refinement, guess-work, or just punctuation.
2. What has Kami done to the subs to deserve tagging them as their own, as seen in the attachments link under the preview pictures above.

Looking at the FTS website, I see no Japanese language skills represented in staff.  And I doubt Kami does anything more than re-encode.

FTS is ok for what they do, as long as you understand what that is.  I couldn't care less about Kami.

Actually, phr0sty's recent releases have been multi-language subs.  And I don't see any multi-language sources he could be just re-encoding them from, or why they would be re-encodes since his releases are big, softsubbed and 264.

So I'm thinking you just pulled that "animerg is a re-encoding group" out of your ass.  Next time stick your head in the toilet instead.

Why don't you visit their website and read their ABOUT US section? They clearly say that 'we encode, but we have untouched rips as well'

Reading their "About Us" sounds like a rational approach, but it is not an accurate description of what they have produced so far.  

Based on what they have done, 'We encode and we re-encode, we sometimes push to the edge of minimal encodes, we are a diverse group with not much in common' is more like it.
