How long is it going to take for everyone to figure out Funimation was responsible for h-10(Nov2010) and HEVC(2012) becoming part of Anime encoding. They used A.I. bots to download as much Anime they could find in personal archives. Convert it all to h-10 then share it on NYAA claiming to make the original. That intern upset archive owners enough so they stopped sharing their archives with the community. They know stopping sharing is impossible but it is possible to contain it, and make sure it doesn't get shared externally from the internet. And finally limit it to only one kind of media player. They were able to get it all accomplished by using Anime fans. I was there watching it unfold day by day. Anime stays on everyone's computers. it only plays pc's using software based media players. And that was just the beginning of what they had planned out.
