Why is it that I can never convert videos from commie to avi files? every time I try to it always fails and I have to find a video made by someone else to do it.

AVC, any video convert. I noticed this problem only happens with commie's videos and the videos from another person who's name I can't remember right now.

There was another program I tried some time ago but the video quality was bad. thankfully commie isn't the only one making videos for the Precure series and I can convert those when needed.

The main difference between Commie and Doremi is Commie always uses Hi10P encodes, sometimes called 10-bit, and Doremi uses HiP or 8-bit. Older avi conversion programs may not handle 10-bit conversions.

The most common tool for this is probably handbrake:

If nothing else, it has good documentation.

You've probably noticed Doremi also provides an avi version of this show.
