I am having trouble figuring out what to do with these torrents. I don't know how to view or open them properly. Any advice or help that you guys could give? Thanks for listening.

I assume this is your first time seeing [dot]torrent files.
Download some torrent client first to be able to use those .torrent files. I suggest bittorrent 7.0.
After you install them, you can now download things through torrent.
Open those .torrent and your client will pop up. The rest should be intuitive enough.

If you're not smart enough for using torrent, a number of direct download options is available next to Download up there.

If none of them works, you can ask for a reupload, some kind souls who have this file might upload them for you. :)

Stick on qBittorent, Tixati. Or in extreme cases - utorrent 2.0/3.0.0, bittorrent 7.8.0.

bittorrent 7.0?
No way. Gone are the days when μTorren/BitTorrent was the top BitTorrent client.
Nowadays the best ones are Tixati and qBittorrent.

Transmission has been a favorite on Macs. It's now available for Windows. There's a preview version and links to their frequent betas. Been using the betas for some time without any problems and very satisfied.

That's right.
Transmission is another notable one specially in Mac platform.
But still Tixati and qBittorrent rule the scene in Win and Linux ecosystems ^_^
