It's an mp4 file so it's for watching, but I have some Final Fantasy mp4 files which are walk-throughs of game-play and others that are compilations of the video playback in the movie --kill a boss then see a short animation that advances the plot. So it may not be a movie as such.

At 549MB, too small for an FF movie even in mp4 I would think. But it's been a long time since I watched you-know-who die, so I'm not recalling stuff, like whether this was part of the Advent Children trilogy?

It is a video, i think it is the video sequences from the game put together, because there is only a game called Dirge of cerberus and no anime, and since animetosho.org/view/final-fantasy-x-movie.n433326 and animetosho.org/view/ffxiii.653731 were uploaded shortly after this one here it is most likely so.
