cannot seem to play it over network with VLC, any one know why?

what do you mean by "over network"? @_@
If you mean playing it while you're dowloading it with torrent, that method is unreliable cos you can't control which piece is downloaded first.

The file itself seems to be just fine. I can play it using VLC.
