hey admin i download attachments regularly from here, the chapters have a dummy element entry because of which mkvtoolnix-gui refuses to open it. i have to manually remove it so that mkvtoolnix-gui accepts it. a couple of examples https://animetosho.org/file/johnny-eng...mkv.788279 this one was uploaded today https://animetosho.org/view/asakura-te...9.n1307443 this one was what made me finally dig into this some others that i downloaded did not have the dummy element entry
the media files themselves i downloaded then self-extracted chapters using gmkvextractgui and mkvcleaver for comparison. in all cases the chapter files opened fine with mkvtoolnix-gui and they didn't have dummy element entry.
I talked to the owner of Anirena and this is what he said:
"If I know what IP range they are connecting with, I could check if they got hit by a IP block, I had a lot of torrents non-Asian being posted on AniRena, and I block these ranges from uploading. When they can provide the IP range they use to scrape, I can put them in a whitelist. It might be for them not a reason, for me it is. If their IP is situated in the IP range a spammer was active with, then they were collateral damage so to speak."
if you can provide the above info here then that will be good and if you cannot comment it here then you can drop a mail on:
Jeez.... Such infantilism... I call for a cessation of the pugnacious misanthrope ways . No need to languish and self-immolation. We can all be more amiable and surmount.
Haha, propaganda simply does not work with autismos. The chans are like the killing fields of the paid shill. There was one that cracked a was screaming about how at the end of every shift they'd feel like they made some headway into manipulating you lot, then he'd come in for his next shift and it was all back to square one, nothing sticks with you lot, you're probably too dumb for propaganda to work, or too smart, or a bit of both...
TF are probably just ramping up any assumed drama for clicks, but you are right in thinking that they would be a target for infiltration, and that infiltration could be used to generate propeganda. The number one goal of propeganda is almost always to convince your enemy to give up. Convince them that the fight is already lost, and that their actions are futile. In such cases it is wise to be on the lookout for drama, intimidation, fear and in-fighting as these can be used to lower morale.
AT has nothing to do with what gets torrented and anyone who does probably isn't reading AT's tech support pages. Your best bet would be to ask for info at the previous dub provider's website, KaiDubs https://discord.gg/JUFynz5
I only pay attention to events. To me, interpreting style is a compound joke. One of the many problems with psycho-babble is it has nothing to do with the actual facts or events or even a reasonable interpretation of facts and events. It's just one person's attempt to interpret the supposed motives of the writer, which don't really matter to me anyways.
A system like the one suggested could actually turn a profit as long as it maintained exclusivity, i.e. as long as it was the main goto for old files. It would work even better by sticking to certain catchment groups, in this case, anime.
Says a guy responding a whole 6 mins after the post hes responding too. If someone here responds to a post right away its suspect, but a whole six minutes later is... Kosher?
? The article reads like its anti-file sharing. Do you think this MPA of yours doesn't have the ability to take control of a site like that and start writing oohwooscaryyoubetterwatchout style articles? The fact that the tone of the article is all oohwwooo scary bad guys and written in a child like manner is a dead giveaway - A standard psyop manipulation technique is to talk (/write) as if you are talking to a child. It can induce responses in certain people that allow the theme of what you are saying/rriting to sinkdirectly into the persons subconscious. You should look into it, it could save your life. Most other people reading this are probably immune to such tactics as the nwo sith control techniques really only work on the weak minded. You can see these techniques use daily on any covid segment of any major news outlet.
Concerning Hakata Ramen torrents, I found some examples and admin checked them out. He found that we were being blocked by their primary host, for no reason he could see. Unless they fix it or start posting on Nyaa or Anidex, some of their torrents won't make it here.
The only way for some of the more unfashionable filehosts to regain any popularity is to aim to hold onto files for a LONG time. Its the only real gap in a crowded market right now. Like, if you were after a show, and could only find a link to it that is like 2 years old or something, and you'd think "Oh, Sendspace might still have it"
Fair play to that guy for stepping into the breach
Asking as someone who is fairly incompetent in regards to computing; If any rouge elements or 'bad actors' ever tried to palm us off with shiteware.mkv, am I right in thinking that there are coders and hackers here that would spot it fairly quickly, and alert the rest of us to it?
literally lolled when reading that torrentfreak article quoting the inhouse joke of the horriblesubs 'great leader' as if it was proof of some James Bond villain tier skullduggery
"This was a hard decision to make for the team, but the truth is, our real life responsibilities have been growing, especially in the times of COVID-19. COVID-19 has really impacted us in various ways, but ultimately it negatively affected how much time we were able to frequently contribute. After some reflection and evaluation, we realized moving on was the best way forward. You could technically say COVID killed HorribleSubs."
SubsPlease is a single user who had zero connection with HorribleSubs or any other rip/fansub group. He's someone who had been doing his own rips for years for personal use and when HorribleSubs folded he decided to step up and supply his rips.
The "cartel" is a phrase and event from Nyaa's history. I hope no one knows what it was about anymore. More people don't need trouble. I think MPA maybe does and TF doesn't.
I think TF want to highlight issues and events on the subject of various kinds of file sharing.
As I said, it's Horrible shutting down that makes the story real.
I read that link and I'm now wondering if torrentfreak is pro piracy or not? The article reads like a hit-piece, worse, its actually like a satirical comedy thing. They talk of an 'anime cartel' Wow, feeling edgy guise?
The only bit were they seem anywhere groundesd in reality is where they admit: βWhat we can confirm is that the MPA demanded that the torrent site should be quickly shut down in September and that has clearly not happened. "
ie. posturing. They sent a letter in September, posturing and demanding that the site be shut down. And the letter was thrown in the bin. My takeaway from this is that torrentfreak.com is bogus
