If people are interested, I can consider looking into it. There's a lot to do at the moment, and I don't have infinite time to do everything in. My current focus is to try and source more content. Everything else is a lesser priority for now.
The test setup is something I already have, so didn't take too long to set up. As for now, it's a way for those interested in recent Nyaa content. Is there something else you'd think others would do with the data there?
It is interesting to note how there hasn't been much of an effort to mirror the data by anyone else though. Actually I've never really bothered either, it's mostly a coincidence that I have that.
No-one can really predict the future, so who knows really. I know you just asked for an opinion on chance, but looking years ahead is difficult. At this point, I intend to keep going over the next few years, but there's things that I'm not willing to do, so if such a thing becomes necessary, that may change.
Backups? Of what kind? Of course, disks die, servers die etc, so anyone sane will keep backups to deal with these issues. But of course, if I get bored one day and decide to kill everything, that's something different. Ultimately we're just a mirror though, so if we go, you'll still be able to get your content from elsewhere.
I don't think I have enough wit to answer the other two questions in a satisfying way.
It may be possible, but there's a few hurdles. One major one is they don't do categorisation of any kind, so I can't filter out non anime stuff easily. Do you happen to know of a way to do this?

ZeroNet is an interesting concept, but I suspect isn't practical for most websites out there. If you're running a static site that never changes, it should be fine, but most sites aren't static.
That, and the fact that hardly anyone uses it = no swarm to host. People could scrape Nyaa when they were up, and in fact, I suspect many do (including AT), but who went to the effort of preserving any of the data?
A few alternatives have been mentioned that I'll need to check through.

Thank you Ramen!
It is a list of albums (and files within) belonging to a [MikuDB.moe] "Vocaloid Discography 506 Albums [FLAC]" 176 GB torrent.
I absolutely need that list because I am about to start manually downloading one by one album from mikudb.moe direct links on mega (I really hope most ddl are still alive) if not I will have to mail them so they can re-reupload the albums if some are missing.
So it will be one hell of a quest. But I WILL make it happen, I will not give up, even If it takes me months.
Feature request: 1. Filter feeds using search terms and filter. Example: searching "sskn eromanga sensei" allows you to create custom feeds for that search terms 2. Torrent and magnet links in feeds. Right now, it only lists DDL links and if there's no DDL links yet, it shows blank
No idea either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But if you ever upload things to MF, it's infamous for being quite emm... blocky? Might just taking a while to update the data.

Ramen, how come MF says 0 downloads for the individual files? I already downloaded all the files.
