Hmm, that could be a difficult one as I'm not sure how those would be displayed... I have a feeling that it may not be a good idea either. Reporting agencies don't actually check the links they submit, which means even a reference can be problematic.
Probably by a DCMA request/takedown notice that was sent directly to admin's ISP. Admin has to comply with it - I imagine it's enforced by his ISP (even though his ISP is in Germany and I don't know why they care about DCMA).
usually the shows that are filtered are ones that got picked-up by funym@tion or like groups that bought the rights for the show/movie outside of Japan.
I don't see sophistication with some recent comments against people.Just read the childish and immature comments against John Rhogan (and others). It is a good thing if it makes you consider your comments and post less often to avoid arguments and random acts of nastiness towards people for no good reason. It has happened quite a lot on here recently and users do not want it,as evidenced by the feedback asking for moderation.Consider it a way for people to have comment standards and be made to not act rudely. And if you can't take negative feedback,i would suggest that you are not mature enough to accept criticism or shouldn't be posting in the first place.
I presume that, by "filtered", you're referring to greyed out (skipped) torrents?
If so, perhaps. To generate the info / extract attachments, the server still has to fetch the file, which uses bandwidth. But now that I think about it, the server is mostly bottle-necked on upstream bandwidth, so I can probably "waste" some downstream bandwidth to produce that info (and basically not actually upload the files). Though I generally seed the files back, so there'll still be an impact on upstream, and will still need to hard limit some torrents, but could be able to fetch most. Hadn't thought about that - interesting idea, thanks!
On the other hand, I'm looking into ways of using available bandwidth more efficiently, so that less torrents can be skipped, which may turn out to be more effective in the long run, but we'll see.
from tt - 2013-06-29 Welcome to our new location, due to some certain issues with our host, we have been forced to move to another location. But the good news is that we have a more powerful CPU so I have re-enabled full history searching.
maybe that's why, but i don't understand much about stuff like this :)
Thanks a lot for your feedback. I mostly took the common implementation that most other sites use and tried adopting it here, thinking that it was mostly accepted. I generally don't follow what everyone else does, primarily because I don't always believe it to be the right thing, but I thought I'd give this a shot. I'm not the most experienced in these things, so I may try something and tweak/change/remove it depending on how well it goes, so definitely, feedback is welcome!
I really hadn't thought of it the way you've expressed it, and I really do see your point - in fact, I'm probably with you on that. I've generally preferred replies to express an opinion rather than some "quantitative rating", and I generally don't find rating systems used terribly well on lower traffic sites like these. I'm also probably with you on not liking democratic rating systems so much, but considering the registered user base here, I thought that it would generally be reasonable. The intention was never really to force feedback everywhere; it's more to discourage unpopular comments.
What do you think about making it less conspicuous? I'm thinking of removing the number altogether, as well as the "Score:" label and just leave the up/down buttons. This should hide the feedback aspect of it at least, as well as reduce the focus on it, but allow the system to act when a comment gets a lot of scores in a certain direction.
I really appreciate you expressing your opinion and value it heavily. You've definitely been a valuable contributor and I hope that I can avoid discouraging you from continuing to do so.
I'm not sure why that exactly happened. I managed to fix it up earlier, hence it appearing, so thanks for the notification! (I didn't have the opportunity to reply here at the time)
Dear A_Registered_Trademark, You are a big asset to this site in many ways with your knowledge on what's going on and technically with technologies. You have helpped many and provided good information to all. No matter what, please, DON'T LEAVE US!!! and keep posting your comments!!!

Admin: Scoring the comments is an interesting idea, but I have my doubts about it. If the display of these scores can be turned off by the user, then fine. But forcing feedback in people's faces -not so fine. I adhere to my own internal standards and am not interested in any scorings. It conflicts with my philosophy to the extent that I'll consider my time in comments over and leave comments to others if score displays are not optional. Maybe it's time to do that anyway. Your users are becoming very sophisticated, and there are others sites that could use a little more help. So I'm fine either way.
Either way, I'll still be relying on you for some downloads, and I can't thank you enough for what you've done and provided over the months/years (? can it be years already?) Your philosophy of automation and user self-police is the best thing that ever happened to portals. It makes the users learn, "grow-up" and learn to play nice with others. By comparison the Babysitter sites (Moderator based) are somewhere between creepy and embarrassing with lots of envy, hate and sucking-up.
I hope you get proper satisfaction from your efforts on our behalf and minimum hassles.

anyone know why this - [Doki] Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita – Vol 6 (1280×720 Hi10P BD FLAC) - don'T show up here, it is not on the list and previous volumes are here, doki only uploads to tokytosho :o just curious
Well. Well. What has been going on here. First off my english is very good. Second I do not use anonymous. If I have something to say I say it as the user I am here. Just because I might have put someone in their place a few times does not mean I`m abusive. At least I don`t call people "Mental Retarded", "Immature Jerk", "Illiterate" and "Mentaly Ill" even though I might think that.
And for the record I only have one personality, ME.
And the funny thing about all these posts about me, they remind me of someone. Who I had conversations with in different posts in the past.... Hummmm. Interesting.
Your browser may give you warnings today about AnonFiles possibly being spoofed (faked and intercepted). It appears they let their security certificate expire. If you want to be sure, wait until those warnings go away, probably a day or maybe next business day.
Admin's vision, as I understand it, has been a portal that runs without much administration. So torrents are selected based on preset rules and users help each other out and police ourselves in the comments and feedback. This is very different from the structure of other sites like AnimeTake where the torrents to download and comments are monitored and moderated.
So far, most things have sorted themselves out over time. The current irritations seem to be doing so at the moment as well.
Learning to get along and people pitching in to help out, it's a nice way to do things. Needing to have a cop on every corner would make us seem pathetic. Let's hope we can remain better than that.
Yes, it is indeed fun. Though I do hope your creativity is not limited to copy pasting the same phrase. Not so much fun for everyone else though, so I'm going to politely ask you to refrain from continuing here. There's plenty of other communities out there, and you can probably even post the same thing and get much more interesting responses. Give it a shot - after all, you don't have much to lose.
Hope you get well soon . Staying on here and posting abusive comments isn't helping you .First step for you would be to admit you have a mental illness and get help from your doctor.Good luck alpeia2.
There might be something wrong with https://animetosho.org/view/horriblesu...mment17956 I could not post a comment with the reply button. When I click "Post Comment" nothing happens. I could use edit and did. Also the background image was not showing up from the mini menu in the upper left to the bottom of page and the background colour outside of the comment boxes.
Other pages seem fine. I thought to just point it out to you in case it is of concern.
