Is there some sort of criteria for a series to end up on here: https://animetosho.org/about/filtseries

Just wondering since there wasn't a real explanation on the page in reguards to what will and won't be filtered.

Probably by a DCMA request/takedown notice that was sent directly to admin's ISP.
Admin has to comply with it - I imagine it's enforced by his ISP (even though his ISP is in Germany and I don't know why they care about DCMA).

usually the shows that are filtered are ones that got picked-up by funym@tion or like groups that bought the rights for the show/movie outside of Japan.

Content licensed by FUNiMATION.They actively DCMA sites that host content they have licensed .Since they license a lot of new content yearly ,i would expect more to be added in future.

This site is fairly low traffic. From the Piwik analytics, around 30,000 page views a day. I suspect the actual number to be a bit higher because Piwik doesn't count users with DNT enabled, Javascript disabled etc, and whilst this may be a minority of cases, I suspect that this site has more such users.

Hey, I try searching by fansub name (e.g. "C*mmie or Horr*ble) but that just takes me to the old one (e.g. Saka*ichi Apollon or old episodes of Fair* Tail)... :(

Yeah something is definitely wrong with the search, I just searched Chihayafuru and get no results after episode 12 on 30/03/2013, yet if i go to the Chihayafuru series page it has results from to episode 25 on 30/06/2013  :/

thats not the appropriate way to search just search 'fairy tail' or 'saki Achiga hen'/'saki' everything related to the series will be listed

hey by the way are there more episodes of achiga i had only 16 and that was the last i think....i wander what will be their next season name 'biyori' maybe read over a manga title.....

Thanks for pointing that out.
I fixed the Chihayafuru issue. I presume Commie is of similar nature.

The new system is indexed off words, so if you search "Horrible" it will only match entries where "Horrible" is the complete word. However if you search "Horriblesubs", this will probably pick up what you're looking for.
I'm probably going to implement a partial matching system, so you could search for "Horrible*" and it'd pick up the stuff you want.

Yep, I'm getting the same problem. :( It's a challenge finding the good links searching manually, especially with lots of new titles to download :(

why dont you try older entries button once you find link of any episode related to desied series just get to  the series page insted of an episode just one extra page to open and everything is fine

The solution is currently just to post the links in the comments section for the file. You may have noticed a number of people already doing this. :)

Searches giving strange older results, however some of the tags that are produced there and in the main feed came up with some interesting shows that weren't there say after June 18th, now leading to pages to quickly were one could pick up some missed shows and final few episodes of others that weren't there as early as last Friday/Saturday.  Like things suddenly reappeared, which I thought had gone out of use...  

Fine by me, just have to stay on top of releases, and use the main feed, since searching for specific titles or fansubbers or encoders doesn't seem to work.  Also since some titles have a plethora of names variations, some surprises have cropped up in the strange searches were I grabbed a couple releases totally missed months back.  

So some good, some bad...but right now I'll take it either way.  Much appreciation AT!

On a different note, does anyone know if DeadFish encodes site is in their sometimes total 'down-time' or 're-vamp time' or in light of recent events 'round here got caught up in the fiascoes ro something else?  

Also being slightly forced on some shows into torrents I really appreciate NOW, the TT and Nyaa link choices.  Besides the fact that I'm buggin' over change, its just the fact the this site, traffic or not is SO DAM USEFUL and EASY and straight forward and upbeat and free of BS, any kink just sucks, because so many people made this site what it is, and whatever the admin philosophy is is clearly working in many ways....and their efforts should remain.
