Seems like its an IPv6 issue on Tosho's backend? Thats what other people are saying? I've been having the same issues, cant connect without a VPN since I get a connection timed out. The site is acting up not sure why, would be great if the admin responded! It's clearly affecting other users!

Based on my browser history and the last-modified on my hosts file, things were working at 2025-07-19 20:37 UTC and broken by 2025-07-20 01:53 UTC

The problem seems to only happen when connecting via IPv6 - IPv4 works fine.

Same thing has been happening for me, the site is kinda unreliable. On some devices I can connect to the site, but for others I get my connection timed out. Same as the other guy. But my experience with the site was fine like, yesterday.

Hey, there seems to be error for Bullet/Bullet. It seems like animetosho hasn't linked that anidb id to the torrents yet?

Your first example is using the title from TokyoTosho. The second wasn't posted to TT, so falls back to the Nyaa title.

I don't plan to implement anything like that, but if you get a comma separated list of AniDB IDs, you can append it to https://animetosho.org/?aids=, for example: https://animetosho.org/?aids=1,2,3

but sadly also used in

Is there a reason for the inconsistency on release titles?
Sometimes it chooses the filename and sometimes the nyaa title.

RSS exists, make use of it with Qbittorrent and you'll never miss a show.

Alternatively Taiga also does that with the added benefit of having it linked to your AL/MAL account.

Pls add a option to make a list of anime that one is watching so that he/she can directly download the latest release episode from that particular section. Saves time and also help to keep record of the animes one is watching

Sometimes Nyaa doesn't return a torrent file, which causes the process to fail.
I've gone through and fixed a few instances of it happening in the last few days.

Rewording what the above commenter said, if you visit this website in the Tor Browser, there should be an ".onion available" button on the right side of the address bar.

There's no plans to support streaming, although some hosts may support it (though probably don't render subtitles).

Admin added the HTTP header for it. Browser detects it when accessing the clearnet address and displays a message next to the address bar, which you can then click to get there.

If low file size is what you want, I would get an AV1 encode instead because it will look better than those groups. MiniVodes is probably the best option for that show for most efficient size and quality.

They're both mini encodes supposed to appeal to users who only care about small files and low data usage. In the end just grab whatever you think looks best or has the subs/dubs you want.

Both are good. If you're only looking for eng subs, cleo. if you need multi subs, judas.
