Not quite sure what you're aiming at, but are you expecting the search function to behave differently if one is on the Series on Episodes page? If so, how would you expect them to operate?
Information shoud be free, if you need it. Free Softwares i use to manage my collection: you can get it from here: https://www.videohelp.com/
SubtitleEdit-4.0.2 - Join and edit subs from other videos e.g. Edit Dialogue to Signs & Songs PS: you can translate subs to your languague.
Rename My TV Series - Download and rename all filename in the folder e.g Deaimon Recipe for Happiness - S01E01 - Nagomu and Itsuka
mkvtoolnix - GUI Version - Edit/join and set file attributes: - correct audio or video delay - extract and add subs from another file - set default language priority, etc..
LosslessCut-win-x64 Chapter Editor - Add or edit chapters in video file.
Could someone help me in crafting a regex search query that contains an OR with a wildcard? Regex are always my bane. I want to do a search for the likes of "[Yameii]|toonshub dual"
I try to make critical functionality work without Javascript, but this only really benefits a tiny number of users. I don't really consider the colour scheme to be critical functionality, so yeah, couldn't be bothered, but you can use the "?theme=..." workaround posted above if you wish.
There's no externally sourced Javascript here, and I try to keep the total size of all resources small, so it shouldn't consume much of your data - if that's your concern that is.
There was an issue with sourcing AniDB pictures a few days back, but it should be fixed now. Try doing a force refresh (Ctrl+F5 if on PC) or clearing cache - hopefully that should fix it (or just wait a few days for the bad cache entries to expire).
Oh, the color changer doesn't show up javascript disabled. In theory it shouldn't need javascript to work properly, it just needs to show a list, and have a button for a GET request. Just like the other parts of the website, the torrents, the searches, replying to a comment, even the CAPTCHA works javascript disabled. I assume the admin stopped caring at some point.
(Unrelated note, but this week google decided to block me without javascript enabled. It is a real bummer. It worked really well up until now, using a very little data, think around 10 kilobytes per search. (And the websites it pointed to were usually working.)
While startpage and duckduckgo both ~somewhat work still, their interfaces are clunky (not optimized for no javascript), and more importantly their search results are shit. I was am living on a free data plan, it was surprisingly livable, but I don't think I can continue it much longer.)
You don't need to make this comment every time AnimeTosho changes its style. Simply, don't use incognito mode, your browser will remember your preferences. You don't even need to create an account.
If you check the series page (which would be a movie in this case), you'll see group filter links on the right side. This isn't unique to varyg1001 - you just probably accidentally clicked that particular link. The filtering isn't so useful for movies, they make more sense for a series.
I just find it weird that varyg1001 gets their own page for Sailor Moon Cosmos, idk why that is. Maybe I'm misunderstanding how the site works, but I've never really encountered any other torrent listings on here that are organized like that. Like that's a new sub-page, but like, it's a movie, should it not be under the rest of the movie listing? Only episodes are organized like that for ease of access. Maybe I'm dumb, you're the admin after all, I assume you have a better idea as to why its like that. But that's just a weird nitpick of mine, it doesn't really affect my general experience using Tosho just found it odd. Anyways ty admin hope you're doing well thank you for all you do. If I spot anything else, I'll drop a message here.
"I just overheard some youngins talkin about this Anime thing and it sounds hip and trendy so that's why I'm here" Kind of people don't come to Animetosho. There aren't many virgins (anime watching virgins... probably a lot of regular ones here though) getting confused on a search bar. The fault is usually with how the uploader titles the post and shouldn't be the responsibility of ADMIN to keep fixing minor problems like these.
"Today 18:38 — Anonymous Yeah "Freeloaders" shouldn't have to make an effort to find what they are looking for." When the admin doesn't accept donations you become a "Freeloader".
found some stuff that doesn't seem to be labelled. I think someone earlier in the thread wanted to watch some sailor moon movies, well they're unmarked on the site.
i know admin won't (and he's probably going to reply explaining why he won't) but i really don't think anyone would blame him if he just silently IP banned ThisIsLX at this point
