Specifically, this is a parody of the series using street slang with obscenities and racial and sexual slurs.  It's not like he didn't put some effort into it.  But many will find it offensive.  Some like this kind of humor.

For those outside the US: If you're interested, there's some consensus in the US these days that if a black person wants to use the "N" word, that's their business.  But it's not ok for a non-black person to use the "N" word.  Complicated, but that's life if you don't want to be misunderstood or offensive.

That being said, there are some people around the fansub universe who have liked to be misunderstood and offensive.  Maybe some years from now they won't.

Cman is generally a decent encoder, It was likely criticized because it's a Funimation upscale and there's normally not much quality gain over 720p, thus the 1080p is not worth it.
