Verified.  Works for me too.  A strangely logical choice.  And installing VLC shouldn't mess up your primary player set-up as long as you deselect VLC for all default audio and video associations.  You should then be able to choose it when you want it with a right mouse click menu.

Although the sound codec listed in the title is AAC, the one listed in the header is the old ALS -an old lossless codec that was never popular.  You'll need to find that codec to get audio.  It's not internally supported by MPC-HC, CCCP, potplayer, kmp, or even my ancient GOM.

Also, there's no sound. Even after I recode to 8bit. What the hell?

Nyaa deleted this file.  The subtitles look ok and the preview pictures run to the end of the show.

Nyaa may be clamping down on tagging or re-make rules.

Nyaa deleted this file.  The preview pictures seem to get to the end credits and the subtitles look normal.  Nyaa rules allow deletion for untagged files (no fansub group named) or "bit-starved" files, so who knows.

Nyaa may be clamping down due a small flurry of scams and fakes recently.

This is a fake.  Someone keeps on generating fake versions of this show under a variety of names and formats, all around 733MB.  AT avoided listing 5 or so similar fakes yesterday.

Here's what this one does:
1. If you download and try to play it, it just shows a screen that says something about you need a codex update to play the file, and directs you to the accompanying "info.txt" file.
2. The "info.txt" file directs you to a website for a "codex update" and promises more movies if you execute their update.
3. Chances are something very bad happens if you use this "update"

I expect more shows will be targeted for this scam.  The AT preview pictures can be a good first step to avoid a wasted download.
