Update for anyone interested. Been over 3 days with the server dropping packets left and right. Did a test a few hours ago, pinging for 30 minutes and getting 93% packet loss. (translation: I have to stop all updates, because everything will break anyway)
Host takes forever to respond to any queries I put forward, and it seems they don't actually have a solution (asking if I'm interested in moving server again). Wonderful.

Can't figure out why updates won't propagate. I could do a workaround if the connection was more stable, but if we're going to change server anyway, it probably doesn't matter. Oh and trying to remotely diagnose problems over a connection with 93% packet loss is great. Every time you try to do something, the connection hangs, drops out or derp herps and herp derps at the same time.

At time of writing, things seem to be going slightly better, but who knows how long that'll last. Trying to push a few uploads through at least, and getting a somewhat workable speed of ~50KB/s (over a 1Gbps connection, mind you).

Hang in there, admin. You already did too much to us, and we can't thank you enough.

updates server has some problems as stated on the homepage and the comment above. It's not really updating as efficiently, but it can't be helped.

There's some network connectivity issues with the updates server it seems. But more than that, there seems to be an odd problem stopping updates propagating over here, which I'm going to see if I can fix.
