I have a problem with PeejeShare.
The download stopped halfway.
It only happened 1 time so far.

If CRC error, that means the file is corrupt
you have to download it again and hopefully it's not corrupt/broken

Thanks for helping to explain. Your clarification is so much better. I am lazy =P.

thanks for the reply :)

I certainly think it is a good thing that there are open source and free alternatives for many programs out there. Quite sad that the common problem, it seems, with these open source programs is that the end users often have to be quite tech-capable or to wait for someone in the developing team to add features that are typical of the paid apps. Of course, given its free nature, I wouldn't expect too much anyways, just saying :)  I may try to learn to write automated codes the next time I have some free time :)

As for the recovery thing, I have to admit I'm a bit of a safety-nut :) ... but not without reasons, that preference for recovery and extra backups came after some horrible personal experience. Not very often, in fact it may be quite rare, but at one time or another some of my important files, and also their backups version stored in archives, are "magically" corrupted for no apparent reasons. So after that I have a habit of backing up things AND adding recovery to them :)
Will wait for the links. Thanks. :)

erh, I think you didn't read aniluv's post carefully enough. He said ".rar file type you can use both 7z and winrar". And from experience with both 7zip and winrar, I know that this is true. So yes, 7zip can extract .rar files.

Both programs have their own advantages over the other, just like aniluv pointed out.

7zip can extract .zip .rar and .7z, and the cool thing is that it can even extract files from damaged archives (not always successful, but yes, it can. WinRAR can't do something like that by the way). And generally speaking, I think 7zip has a higher compression rate than WinRAR, i.e. you can make smaller archives from larger files and share them more easily.

WinRAR can extract files from almost any archive type you can throw at it. And of course winrar can generate .rar files while 7-zip can't (7-zip can open and extract .rar files but can't CREATE .rar files). And in winrar you get a lot of cool functions to use with the rar file, such as adding recovery records, multi-folder auto compression, strong password management ... But winrar sometimes gives errors when extracting .7z files, so for those you better use 7-zip, it's free anyways.

So, I guess you should have both WinRar AND 7-zip installed, you'd probably be better off that way.

hmm... does 7-zip can't extract .rar? why does people use 7z in the first place if we already have poweful compresing with rar..? -___-
you know what i mean, maybe 7-zip have some good features, but WinRAR is much more world wide.. i hope you know what i'm trying to say..
From Anxious-He website:
"Someone derped and didn’t attach fonts to the v1. "

So the full v2 download above, or if you know how to apply patches, the patch from their website:
http://anxious-he.com/wp-content/uploa..._patch.rar

As for the rather insulting comment line at the top of this page from Aesir-Anxious following their mistake...I'm prompted to say when I compared eps10, I thought the Aesir-Anxious colors were rather muted but the Doremi version's were pure and dazzling.  Whether this is due to the different video feeds (tv-asahi for A-A, ABC for Doremi) or encode choices I don't know.  But I think dazzling is what the authors of this series intended. And dazzling is fun!  The translations seemed similar.
Here's the udp procedure according to Nyaa Moderator/Underwater's Daiz:

"TokyoTosho doesn't allow torrents with a UDP tracker as the main tracker to be submitted. To get around this, you can use a bogus HTTP tracker URL as the main tracker and the real UDP tracker (OpenBitTorrent in this example) as the second URL (note that the empty line in the middle is a must):

    http://<whatever>/announce

    udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce
------------------------
asaadas doesn't allow anonymous comments, so if someone with a wordpress, liveid, google, etc. logon could pass this on to them.  I saw in their blog they wanted to add TT but were unsuccessful.
It has to be 7zip 9.2 or later.  Here's my full procedure:

1. Get 7zip from downloads.cnet.com  If you already have 7zip, it has to be version 9.2 or later.
2. Highlight the two files to be joined and extracted
3. Right click on the highlight, choose 7zip Extract Here

For me, that does the whole thing in one step
After downloading and extracting with 7-Zip, it gave another compressed file... But that file was invalid...

can upload rar files
Thanks bro!
yeah, try peejeshare, its faster than mediafire.. beside its single link download, so it dont waste my time clicking link(s) again..
Go here

http://asaadas.blogspot.co.uk/

It's their main site
Whoever you are. Thank you. Mind if i ask, Did you also do Fate/Zero?
no idea what udp is but i guess i'll try and ask him

thanks
I'm not exactly sure how it works in tokyotosho. But i think asaadas torrents' tracker is only udp so it can't be posted in tokyotosho. You could try asking asaadas to add a dummy (?) http tracker to see if it can be allowed in tokyotosho. Dunno if the http one should be the first tracker or not.
oh & Haiyore! Nyarlko-san if you could add DDL for those 3 other anime please!

thanks!
yeah i've noticed about asaada too but most of his works aren't uploaded here for some reason :( i'd like a DDL & not torrent (Don't trust it) admin if you could upload his other works like (Kore wa zombie or queens blade) would really appreciate it
lol sorry he's not back. Someone was looking for all NemDiggers Fate Zero eps and i noticed its the only one not available here so i posted it on tokyotosho. Probably forgot to add it there.

Btw if you guys haven't noticed in nyaa, check out asaadas http://asaadas.blogspot.co.uk/ he's picking up some of NemDigger's stuff.
Interesting that his first title coming back is "Return of the Assassin"!
oh okay i thought he was back, I put off my anime's that im watching and waiting for his re-encodes if hes not back in a week or so i guess i'll just watch the AVI's xD
It was submitted to Nyaa on NemDigger's login.

Good points, I didn't think of those.
Lack of recovery is a notable omission in the 7z format, although I do question the necessity of it these days (P2P applications do chunk hashing, transport streams and filesystems support checksumming). Perhaps it seems a little odd for a compression format, as the idea of compression is to remove redundancy whilst error recovery's aim is to increase redundancy. I guess you'd need to use an external application like PAR for this purpose, but I do take your point that integrated support may be nicer for some.

I've generally write scripts for more complex archive creation tasks, but taking a look at WinRAR it seems that it does have some handy ability to do stuff like exclude files or create multiple archives at a time. Isn't a format limitation though, so may be doable by another program. I know there are alternative archivers which compress to 7z, such as PeaZip, but I haven't really tried them so I don't know whether they have the ability to do this.

Good points - thanks for putting them forward.
I personally support 7z as it's free and open, has better compression (with the drawback that the 7-zip application doesn't always adaptively select  optimal compression methods whilst WinRAR does) and can be faster on many core machines as WinRAR can only use 2 threads. The format's support for chained filters is a pretty nice feature too.

I think for .rar file type you can use both 7z and winrar, though winrar could have more features. For .7z file, it is better to use 7-zip.

Honestly, I do not use the function of compressing multiple folders into multiple archives, so i am afraid i can't help you with that. Maybe admin can help u?

erh ... I wanna ask something, 7-zip can't create archives with recovery records or repairing function, and it doesn't have the function to compress multiple folders into multiple archives like WinRAR (it can compress multiple folders into ONE archive, I know that), does it? Purely asking, don't get my intention wrong, I'm not saying which is better than which. Just that I'm kinda fond of the recovery and automated compression functions of WinRar. If there is something like that in 7-zip that I didn't see, please tell me how to get to that, thanks.

I'm not sure what you did, so here's what works for me:
1. Get 7zip from downloads.cnet.com  If you already have 7zip, it has to be version 9.2 or later.
2. Highlight the two files to be joined and extracted
3. Right click on the highlight, choose 7zip Extract Here

That's it.  If it still doesn't work, you may be bumping into the Windows path limit of 255 characters.  In that case, create a temp folder near the root directory, like C:\temp.  Move the files to be joined there, then follow the above procedure.

If that doesn't work, then only Pikachuu can help you!

that sounds good enough as a mirror :) hopefully this highlights the importance of keeping up the support for other hosting links as well (especially mediafire), so that we are not stuck with just one host :)

To report on the limits of Peejeshare:
After two files (1 gig each) it won't let you dl for a bit (maybe 10 minutes) but then lets you get more. There doesn't seem to be a per day limit (or it's over 12gig).
I did encounter the strange "no slots available" error on some files though. It does go away eventually but is a bit concerning.
well at least they got the audio right
