This is really unfortunate. Even though I just bought a new laptop and mkv´s are no longer a problem, I still would have liked to use his encodes because of their good quality and relatively small size. Hope he´ll come back someday. Guess it´s time to go back to animesenshi.

7-zip (latest version?) should open the .001 file fine. It will NOT open the .002 file, so don't try to open it.
WinRAR doesn't seem to work with split 7z files (the version I have at least), so you may need to join them into a single file before trying to open it.

Can you please explain what HJSplit has given you after you've used it? It should be outputting a .7z file which should be openable.

Thanks. I tried HJsplit and it did not work for me.
I really like mediafire for multiple file downloading for the larger files. I hope they find a better way of dealing with the deletion issue so I can keep using it to download.

the file on mediafire is in archive form. (.rar .zip .7z)
probably this is to prevent mediafire deleting the files due to copyright etc.

you could probably try joining the .001 & .002 part using HJsplit first.
after that you could extract it using 7zip
it works for me

What do you mean by mediafire is run thru an archive?
Does this require any specific program to open the 2 part file?

I downloaded part 1 & 2 mediafire files and 7zip was unable to open them.
7zip worked fine on the part 1 & 2 flameupload files.

WTF???

The parts between hosts aren't always interchangeable.
In this case, FlameUpload and MediaFire has different split sizes, and MediaFire is run through an archive whereas FlameUpload isn't.

After I used hjsplit to join the both file, I extracted the file by using 7-zip but it show the text that File is broken. Something wrong with the file at Mediafire.

That file's up now - try redownloading (should only need to re-get part 2).
I think a few others broke similarly, but should be fixed soon as I've re-pushed them through. If anyone identifies a broken archive, please do report it!

I knew I should've done more error testing.
I believe I've identified the issue. If you're comfortable with hex editing, you can fix the archive by changing the first byte in file_25742_(5a9f1eea).7z.002 from 0x04 to 0xbe - this fix will allow you to extract the file without error.
Otherwise, wait for me to upload a fixed copy.

Tested out on a couple of files, Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka 720p using regular Firefox and no Download manager and got decent speeds of around 600Kbps with no waiting, Second test download Medaka Box 1080p using JDownloader, surprising not only did it download a 500mb+ file without restrictions or image verification, allowed multiple connections, and downloaded with speeds of 2MB.

If it stays like this, I'd say the service is better than all services i've used (payed and free) in recent months since the demise of MU. I'm surprised it allowed me to download 900MB in under half an hour no fuss.
