Do I am the only noticed ddl links being slowly generated compared to before? For example well seeded horriblesubs torrent takes awhile before the DDL started appeared

Seems like Sundays EST are particularly slow. sometimes up to 4 hr. delay.

I happened to be monitoring the queues when the first note in this string was posted.  At that time, lot of Horrible releases had been waiting for download link processing behind a 162 file torrent (Space Adventure Cobra) and some other stuff.  Just bad luck on a busy day, I thought.  And although the Cobra torrent was *only* 14GB, 162 files takes a while to process.

A couple of notes:

- Uploading files to multiple hosts to get download links is the most common waiting point for single episode releases, not torrent speed or seeds.  
-Number of files is easy to overlook as a factor on the homepage, compared to GB.  Both have proved to be important.  
-There are other factors, such as the responsiveness of the dl hosts and need for retries.  Can't do much about unresponsive hosts.

admin has set up a system of 6 simultaneous upload queues to speed download link processing, and priority rankings to keep big manually pushed torrents from getting in the way of new releases.

Nice..giving high priority to ongoing series or single file to be processed first is excellent to avoid that problem.

It was submitted into wrong category on Nyaa: Anime Music Video instead of English-translated Anime. I think that is the reason why it was skipped. The next episode (23) is already here on Animetosho,

You can't use those links?

Otherwise, see if you can convince the torrent author to correct his mistake.  Not only does AT skip wrong categories, it actively checks and deletes them after download.

Actually, if you're a Nyaa login (I'm not), flag the torrent for a category change by mods.  Torrent author preferred to grumble rather than make the change.  ...Weird...  Let the mods chew on his ass...files. (ha ha, can't censor that).

Hi Sean,

The main AT site has not been updating/not functioning/not fully for the last 18 hours or so.  Maybe for some reason because of that G-chrome can't connect, although Firefox and TorBrowser still can.

In any case, you can try our mirror site https://mirror.animetosho.org/ until things are back to normal on the main site.  After that, let us know if any G-chome problems persist.

Hey guys
I'm having this problem again except this time not even the mirror site is working and I can't seem to be able to access animetosho(or mirror) from Tor Browser as well --strange. (Currently posting using VPN) [Browser: G-chrome v54]

(I tried firefox too.)

The mirror site is currently down, so that's the reason it won't work for you.

Otherwise, are you able to ping animetosho.org? (Start -> Run -> cmd -> ping animetosho.org)
If it shows something like Request timed out. then you're not able to route to the site for some reason. If this is indeed the case, in the command prompt, type tracert animetosho.org and hit Enter. Wait for the command to finish, then copy the output and post it here.
The output should contain a bunch of numbered lines (1, 2, 3, 4 etc). I recommend deleting the first ~4 lines before posting if you value your privacy.

I don't believe anything has actually changed on this end. Either your IP got removed from the blacklists or you got a new IP from the ISP, perhaps?
Spamhaus are somewhat of a pain in their own way though... Are you able to check with your ISP to see if they're willing to get their IPs off the blacklist?
