I don't think this site will ever maintain old/broken links, but anyone's welcome to post their own mirrors, and I'm sure there'll be some that are grateful for your doing so.

Again in the main page, only embedupload (rapidshare) is available. Please do not turn off BayFiles. Do away with some other hosters if you have to. BayFiles' advantage is it that mirrors are up very fast and speeds are reasonable.

Fair enough, there seems to be a fair amount of support for Bayfiles.
I'm just testing JumboFiles and DDLAnime for now. The latter is new, so no-one knows how well they'll last, and it's the only host which is uploaded with an account. Account limited to 500GB storage only; if we assume around 15GB uploaded per day, that'll deplete a short while after one month, so I don't see DDLAnime as suitable for long term storage. Maybe that'll increase in the future.

So choices are between Bayfiles, JumboFiles or DDLAnime, at the moment.
Are there any other single host people think would be better than Bayfiles?

Only sites giving me half decent speeds[free user] are,wupload,bayfiles,mediafire,and thats about it .Its hard to get good download speeds like MU use to have :(

Jumbofiles seems like a good choice, no stupid captcha or wait times and I'm getting over 1MB/s download speed, Hope you keep it.

I'm mainly interested in seeing if anyone else wants to comment on the host, so no need to keep putting it up :)
Thanks a lot for the offer Insence. Main issue with accounts is that they're easy to nuke, should that ever happen, which is why anonymous uploads are slightly preferred. But if it's a premium account, the host may be less willing to nuke the account, if there's a periodic payments to be received (so lifetime membership has this downside).
Nevertheless, if you don't mind the possibility of losing your account due to reports, I'll consider it if other people think the host is decent.

However, we reserve the right to limit the available disk space for the partners whose files require extensive disk space and are not popular at the same time (I.e., the files that are not downloaded often). In such a scenario, we may set the following limitations for maximum available disk space per user: up to 500 GB for Premium account owners and from 100 to 250 GB for free account owners.

500 GB for Premium user. This might be a problem.

I don't know of any IP bans.
Do you have more information? Eg, error messages, can you ping/traceroute the server, etc?

Simple error that the page is not available. I tried pinging and it works. Can't figure out what's the problem.
I tried with both Firefox and Chrome.

Also, if you try to access the site via HTTP, eg http://animetosho.org does it redirect to HTTPS?

That's a possibility. I believe the host got a new machine and shifted us over. Maybe has different routing.

Please see the FAQ about why some hosts are slow.
Also, there seems to be some weird host congestion, which I've been trying to trace.

Maybe you could setup some sort of twitter-feed for site-updates or (planned) outages so we know what's happening if the site goes down ^^

Unfortunately I don't use it and I think it would make me have to maintain more than I'd like to do.
Really like the suggestion though - thanks a lot for supplying it.

This host is fairly reliable over the months I'm with them, so I guess I'm hoping that these one-off downtimes won't be frequent.
