I'm getting the same error, as well as a (CloudFlare?) certificate issue.
I'm guessing it may be a configuration error somewhere, so hopefully fixed shortly.

I'm considering adding nyaa.si as a source.
It's just that, at the moment, there isn't that many entries it has that our current sources don't (your example is pretty much the only example I can find), and there's a lot of reposts (with different info hashes, which doesn't get picked up by de-dupe).
But thanks for bringing it up nonetheless.

Depends.
If there's a seed with dedication in the swarm, it will get processed.
That torrent seems to be dead at the moment.

To be a seed you need to have all the files.
By dedication I mean he will stay seeding at least until 2 more seeds is created.
I assume you simply uploaded that torrent that was dead since nyaa's death.

More importantly, AT isn't your private seedbox service.  You would be better advised to request someone here to create ddl for you, like 00sas or RamenSub.

No, the script gives up after a while (otherwise you'll just endless accumulate dead torrents).
Also note that, for some entries (like the above) that are old, the torrent gets paused and the script eventually purges it without ever processing it.

They're having a problem with their SSL certificate and your browser is probably defaulting to https. You need to manually type in http://anidex.info, instead of https://etc...

It's not just you. Some sites including AniDex has problems with their SSL certificates and Firefox warns you about that but when using a VPN, there will be no error.
So now you know what to do! ;)

More precisely it comprises encrypted and unencrypted connections (through a distributed network).

Tor uses layered encryption. Only the connection from the exit node to destination is unencrypted by Tor (but may still be encrypted, e.g. if you're using HTTPS).

VPNs have the exact same issue - it only encrypts from your point to the VPN server, and not beyond. VPNs and SSL are completely different and one shouldn't affect the other. If you're getting certificate issues when not using VPN, perhaps your ISP/network is attempting to tamper with your connection.
