Hey, I think you may want to consider using DDLanime again. It's more stable, and files won't be taken down because of DMCA.

what makes you said "the files won't be taken down bacause of DMCA"?
01/04/2012 14:46 — Anonymous
To my knowledge, all of their servers are located outside of the US's jurisdiction, so they do not plan on being compliant with DMCA takedown requests.

Jumbofiles, DDLAnime and ifile.it will be best solution.

Jumbofiles increased their bandwith . So downloading and uploading is much faster ans stable then before.

Jumbofiles is definitely much much more stable now than when it was last used here, it seems. Instead of less than 100 KBps I now get consistently in MBps range from Jumbofiles. So with mediafire no longer a viable option, maybe it's time to give Jumbolfiles another go considering it does not have wait times and offers resumable downloads even to free users.

I'm suggesting that you should try upload to http://zomgupload.com/
01/04/2012 23:55 — wilder
wtf is bayfiles?
the waiting time is 300 seconds
and I cannot use IDM to download it :(
02/04/2012 04:35 — Anonymous: "KEN"
No, the waiting time should be just 60 seconds, unless you (your IP) has downloaded something from there not long ago.
Why not consider create a free account. That ought to help.

I m also getting 300 Sec on Bayfiles. For now ifile.it and Jumbofiles r best Options.

DDLAnime deleted half of useres upload without any warning and all were licensed by Funimation. so WTF DMCA don't effect us.

Really sorry for the issues guys. Have been really busy IRL over the weekend so couldn't attend to much here.
It also seems a failsafe I put in place didn't activate and I have to check if anything's been broken as a result.

I really want to get Mediafire working, but it looks like a bit of a dire situation with MF failing on some files, but not others (which makes it difficult to identify the problem). Interestingly, it seems that .002 files (that is, the 2nd part) have higher chances of failing.
UploadSeeds seems to have a very high failure rate, so I'm canning them.

If I can't get Mediafire figured out soon, I guess the interim solution would be to skip Mediafire and use Jumbofiles/DDLAnime instead for now.

Thanks a lot for the support everyone!

Its ok Admin, thank you for informing us.
Its been more than a month after Megaupload is dead, and yet the commotion still havent settle down.

I wonder how much longer we need to wait. sigh~~

Please favor Jumbofiles over DDLanime.

How bout ifile? Its kinda like mediafire with its support for d/ling more than 1 file at a time.

Btw when the updates come back, will it include the missing stuff from when it got disabled to working again or just the new ones? Just asking so i can just torrent them now while there are still alot of seeders. Tnx ^_^

It's been mentioned a few times in the past, and I've got it on my consideration list (along with some other hosts).

Difficult to answer your question exactly. The script records where it got up to, so resuming should start from where it left off. However, some files that have failed to upload won't be retried, as the script deletes files that it's done with - I expect that most files aren't in this situation though.
If you want them now and don't mind torrenting though, might be a good idea to go ahead :)

I seem to have found the issue with Mediafire - I'll admit that it's a careless mistake of mine when adding upload-to-account support, where I forgot to fully restore the internal state of the Mediafire uploader after an upload, causing most part 2 links to fail.
So now the server will try to process through its upload queue then I'll resume the updates when there's less load.

Ok guess i'll torrent them now. There are only a couple of them anyway.

And good luck with MF. I know alot of leechers here depend on it ;)

Looks like MediaFire is not as smart as I thought they are. xD
03/04/2012 12:56 — Anonymous
plowshare also can be used to upload to mediafire from sctipts
03/04/2012 21:45 — admin
Unfortunately plowshare also fails if not given a login to Mediafire. And in fact, is perhaps less reliable because it only waits a few seconds for MF's verification to complete.

But thanks for the tip nonetheless!

MediaFire now has desktop uploader called MediaFire Express but still in beta version...
03/04/2012 00:08 — cpxmay
embedupload now includes jumbofiles
05/04/2012 22:19 — admin
Thanks for the tip. Is enabled, but there doesn't seem to be any successful uploads through it :(
03/04/2012 10:18 — Anonymous: "anon"
U can include Jumbofiles or DDlanime..
the links in DDl anime will not be deleted.. since it was meant to download anime..
also jumbofiles is safer than  mediafire..links will not be delted that quick..
Please consider them
05/04/2012 22:21 — admin
DDLAnime accounts are limited to 500GB space.
It seems they support anonymous uploading now, but 100MB per file limit and 14 day expiry isn't that attractive...
Unsure if Jumbofiles is more stable than last time, might be worth a try.

WU is dead...OMG

"Announcement: All sharing has been disabled. Wupload is not a file sharing site. If you uploaded a file, only you can download it and it can't be shared with anyone else."

I see what u mean. Same as Filesonic.

Seems that Wupload and Fileserve are now dead.
