always begging for donations, and when he don't get it he releases a bunch of troll releases with video turned upsidedown to try to coerce donations, and when that don't work, he stops releasing entirely, then returns a few months later with a lot of batches and somehow people donate again and the cycle repeats.

Spot on. He stopped re-posting other subbers works (he always gives source) for a week or so and today is catching up with all he did not post during that time in one day. Posted as BakedFish/DeadFish tags after reporting the receipt of 10 bucks of the 300 he needed to continue.

I like what he is doing, but it is hard to support a copy of something I already have access to.

To clean up my system a bit, I (finally) watched 1-2 episodes of The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Family Guy and Our Cartoon President that I had downloaded in the past.
Man, I can't believe it. They were just awful. Is this even possible? How on earth, crappy shows like those are being created for more than 8 years (some of them more than 20 years)?!!! From crappy stories to awful voice acting to unbearable characters, why they even produce such lousy shows?!!!

That's one thing I like about anime. Aside from a few shows like One Piece, nothing goes on for too long. On the one hand that means some shows don't get as much as they should, but it also means the shows can have a clear purpose and never have to "jump the shark".

Everything (anime, TV series and movies) starts with manga. If it's popular and successful, anime movie, anime series and TV series will be created.
