Feedback Page

This is a somewhat temporary page made especially for the beta version of this website. It's to collect all your death threats, love messages, requests to the code monkeys or just suggestions/issues/questions/criticisms/idle talk or whatever feedback you think is worth our database space.

Anyone where I can find "Food Wars S3 OVA side story" in 720p or 1080p?

All I'm finding is 480p and 576p low resolution releases.

Probably not the best place for this, but a torrent I have of Oban Star Racers has to sets of files, one labelled [anime] (there are only about 11 episodes) which have previously ons and next ons, the rest of the files have these stripped away. Where can I find oban star racers WITH the full 23:30 minutes of content? (It pains me people would chop apart anime like this, it breaks my heart everytime and obscure anime like Belle and Sebastian or Ashita no Nadja has opening monologues chopped off, or OP/EDs chopped off. My awful coalgirls'd copy of hero tales had ops and eds cut out then readded somehow causing small sections of content just before the op to be lost)

It does have both previews (I can't figure out why it's only twenty minutes though), I suppose I might end up watching the french language previews from the poxitron episodes mixed with the other japanese language version with the previews cut off using some vlc advanced open magic.

generally if its just the OP/ED chopped off then there is a likelihood that the edited episode is using Ordered Chapters black magic. one case for which this magic is mostly used is to reduce filesize which results in small torrent size for all episodes and also space+bandwidth saving. if it is Ordered Chapters then those who created it will usually provide separate OP/ED files. you play your episodes through good up-to-date media player and you won't have any missing chapters.

some of Hi10Anime releases have bad Ordered Chapter chopping. i had encountered non-OP/ED sections missing. someone like kuchikirukia does a good job on creating these Ordered Chapters.

just fyi.

i think i have Oban Star Racers lying somewhere. if you give me episode numbers i'll look them up and upload them in 2-3 days.

The episodes I have in full are 01, 04, 05, 07, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 26. (so, I'm missing the full episodes for 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 15 and 16 to 25). Thanks for your reply BTW, I appreciate it.

ok so i checked what i have. it is european dvdrips someone posted in kametsu i think. same has been reposted in nandato, you can grab it from there. forum link in golumpa's torrents in nyaa.

you sure these had next episode preview segments because i have found 3 different rips AnimeAddicts, poxitron and what i personally have (european dvdrips) and none have that segment. looks like this show had japanese co-producing it, maybe japanese showings had that section assembled later for japanese viewing idk.

From the beginning i can't understand downloading on clickupload, using opera, mozilla or firefox there was no result, when file into IDM, downloading did not work at all, and also, the period of files on this site so quickly disappear. maybe only 14days. To much ads and page pass. Pls add site: racaty and dropapk
22/02/2020 02:27 — admin
Thanks for the suggestion.
Do you, or anyone else, have any opinions on Racaty and DropAPK?
22/02/2020 04:58 — Anonymous
I like and use DropAPK a lot elsewhere. For AT I will probably continue to use mostly Zippy and Free since both are better.

For direct downloads I only manually download one file at a time using FireFox (NoScript, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger) and with default settings aside from allowing DropAPK "temporarily" in NoS there are two pop-up tabs/pages that I close before they're done loading. No annoying Google captcha, just a few numbers to enter, and (for my use) decent enough speed. Three pages to download might be too annoying for some? (First choosing between free or paid dl, then number input captcha, then download link).

Not familiar with Racaty.

#Even a Pawn can take down a King#
Racaty's basic speed seems like 2 MBit for me. Multiple connections (looks like 5) possible, currently.  Did get 7...8 MBit. So overall OK, but Solidfiles and Free are working better for me.
Racaty works with JS disabled. But looks like a glitch, that clicking the inactive timer field triggers the download...
22/02/2020 22:19 — Anonymous: "MeH"
DropAPK is OK but I hadn't heard about Racaty till now.
However, I think Upload.ac is better than both and files last longer on Upload.ac.
23/02/2020 07:03 — admin
Thanks for the feedback!
I'll give DropAPK a try and see how it goes.
22/02/2020 10:40 — Anonymous
Probably most important is whether 130GB+ per day uploads is possible.
23/02/2020 07:04 — admin
Thanks for the pointer.
Unless there are stated limits (typical with accounts), it can be hard to know without trying. So basically, you just have to try and see I guess.

Episode 8 wow, and the president of the robotics club powering up...

Best anime of the century?

ATTENTION: animetosho.org website owner

One of your admin is posting as anonymous, then logging in and using the admin rights to delete any posts that are contrary to his opinions.

See: https://animetosho.org/view/gjm-aru-ka...mment93992

This is curation of the comments to suit his own opinions. It's fucking bogus. Sort it out!
26/02/2020 18:28 — Anonymous
haha

all those posts with [removed]

I read those posts and they might have ruffled a few rabbit SJWs but there was nothing wrong with them. They were good interesting points.

Sort your admin out owner-san
26/02/2020 18:31 — Anonymous
I read them too, one refuted the post it was replying to, the others were reminiscing about the old internet pre social media and mobile phones. They were good posts. Animetosho has an authoritarian SJW on your mod team for sure.
26/02/2020 23:51 — admin
No, you're just being full of shit.
I removed all the comments because no-one needs to read that crap, and it's not even worth the database space to store it.
You can try calling foul about curation or opinion promotion or the like, but the fact is, if it's mostly a mess of insults or attempts to incite pointless bickering, I'm more inclined to remove it.

I think I'm generally a lot more accepting of comments than most other places, but even I have my limits.
If you don't like it, go someplace else. Otherwise you can keep wasting time posting comments which I'll just remove.

This is so unlike admin 0.o I think it's actually Gurphy_TC hijacking admin's account.

What I worry about is making AT continue to be a fun and worthwhile experience for admin and others so the party doesn't end even after 10 years of his/her paying all the bills, fixing stuff up, and doing janitorial duties.

There are a few here who don't care about any of that.

Aside from download issues, every comment here is pretty much wasted space.  I would be surprised to find that anyone reads them.  Delete away.
26/02/2020 20:47 — Anonymous
Reads comments

Then posts comment saying no one reads the comments

?

and 'delete away' ?

Thats a pretty pessimistic outlook you have there. I feel sorry for you anon
26/02/2020 20:56 — Anonymous
I check for users with download problems.

The lonely blogger comments get in the way of finding the AT users.
26/02/2020 21:39 — Anonymous
Come on Mods, you guys barely delete anything.  You can't wait for just dirty language or nastiness.  If an exchange  becomes a blog it belongs at a discussion-forum site where they have the tools to manage it.  Delete it and send them back to whatever site that does that stuff.

If a Mod doesn't like to delete stuff, think of it as just supporting the Mod who made the decision it was time and help them out.
28/02/2020 17:58 — Anonymous
Your argument would maybe be valid if the deletions were a broad sweep, but they're not, the deletions are selective. It really does look like the admins are getting involved in the 'blogging' often with their admin hats off, and delting comments that refute their own 'blogging' opinions in the debate.

Also, maybe they might want to review their ever so edgy banner heading if shitposting is not welcome (i.e.opinions contrary to theirs)

Current edgy banner reads:
This is a somewhat temporary page made especially for the beta version of this website. It's to collect all your death threats, love messages, requests to the code monkeys or just suggestions/issues/questions/criticisms/idle talk or whatever feedback you think is worth our database space.

t. "Idle talk" desu
28/02/2020 18:27 — Anonymous
"This is a somewhat temporary page.." refers to this Feedback page where they might allow more room for commenting on the site for improvements.

In that spirit I would offer the following to staff: This is a download site, other topics are just gas.  Changing article comments to multi-choice only with pre-programmed responses would be better than what you now have, unless you want staff to waste their time.

People who want a discussion can go somewhere appropriate to their topics.  There are plenty of blog and discord sites, but not plenty of good download sites.  Download sites should do what they do best.
28/02/2020 18:29 — Anonymous
Multi-choice:

a. I'm having trouble with this download
b. I'm having trouble with playback
c. I believe the download is defective
d. I believe the download is in the wrong category.

etc.
28/02/2020 18:37 — Anonymous
And I agree the cute banner on this Feedback page should change.  It was from a more innocent time.
29/02/2020 07:35 *admin
I've already responded to you above - you don't need to reiterate yourself to draw attention to your pleas.

It's hardly 'blogging' by any standard, it's basically insult flinging and attention seeking. I have better things to do than join in that nonsense. The purpose of comment removal was to stop the posts, not encourage them, so your claim about me posting anonymously is simply ludicrous. (also, there's no reason why I'd need to post anonymously anyway)
Comment removal can be selective or broad - as much as you may not like it, it really doesn't matter. All that matters is that enough context is removed to make the chain no longer make sense, and discourage further comments from being made. What's deleted is completely up to our discretion (though I tend to focus on the person causing the most trouble). If you don't want it to occur, then make sure that the conversation remains considerate and doesn't turn nasty.
I think we're very open to comments here - perhaps too much as the parent commentor alludes, but again, that doesn't mean there's no limits whatsoever.

There is nothing opinionated here other than your incorrect claims on the matter.
