I provided evidence showing the encoder said his rips where poorly ,that's the evidence.I don't see any of that on the other posts.Claiming i am stupid when a quick search reveals your personal home address and other details such as phone number shows you're the idiot.Talking of John-Rhogan,i presume you're the ass who acts rudely on every comment to try and make yourself feel tough.Maybe he should ring or write you and tell you to stop being a childish dick towards him.

It isn't even that bad though. From your post, I was under the assumption that Ruell was utterly unwatchable. Would it have been so difficult to provide screenshots to back up your claim from the beginning? Like in the posts from the past cited by that other guy, the other anon didn't do that from the start.

I would expect banding within an encode which is 8-bit and has some scenes which are dark.

You can't expect me to take those screenshots seriously though. If you you know anything about image compression, then you'd know that jpg is very lossy. When you use MPC to take a JPG screenshot, it uses a rather lossy qualitative value. The ones you gave are at 66. A less lossy one would be 99. It's rather misleading to use that as a comparison. Use PNGs instead. Jpgs with a quality of 66 will start to show more artifacts than there are for the video.

I never said it was unwatchable just that no flaws where fixed.If i was asked to provide screens i would have done so,instead of getting a load of abuse for no reason.It works both ways you know;if someone claims it's good they should provide proof as well.Banding has nothing to do with 8-bit either,it is in the source and a debanding filter such as gradfun will help fix the problems .The images in jpg where due to imgur ,for some reason it never stores them as PNG http://imgbox.com/g/tQ7rdviwwB .The lack of screens with lighting is due to the pics being from episode which is mainly in a dark underground setting.And no i do not enjoy putting groups down.I was just stating the flaws and i said speed encoder"not shitty",the speed/settings at which you encode video can make it look worse[ie,1-pass,2-pass,level,wrong crf,etc].Lastly do not blame me for ruell quitting encoding .Check his blog out http://ruell.blogspot.co.uk/.He's stopping because he said his computer is too slow for encoding and he has said other groups are better than him.He probably has work,family,friends etc and more important thing needing his time as well.
