To make things clear: Stream *is always* download. The difference is only a matter of local data storage (temporary/partial or complete). Well, I see, unpacking is somewhat a small extra effort.
I'll clarify that this is referring to the file we upload, not the EXE. Thanks for the useful comment though!
Note that I'm somewhat making the assumption that everyone here is technically knowledgeable enough not to download or run any executable file from file hosting websites. This should be true anywhere you go on the internet - do not run executables from sources you don't trust, or where you shouldn't need to (i.e. there is no reason why you should run EXEs when you're expecting video files).
It was done to improve upload reliability, as they were otherwise rejected at times. It's interesting to hear that someone is trying to use links here for streaming, despite us not really targeting that purpose. There are many streaming services out there though - out of interest, is there any particular reason why you'd prefer to stream off Solidfiles rather than use those?
You leave out the only important info, which would be which download service did you use? The file itself is perfectly fine.
You always have to be careful about download services, especially when the file was deposited there over a year ago. Company owners and their policies change and there's no way to track such things.
But if you're not well provided for protection, consider clicking on the individual episodes of releases and look for something called the "Direct" link.
is there a reason the ddl links from solidfiles are being uploaded as .7z files instead of the regular files as they were before? i personally find this to be an inconvenience as i use solidfiles to stream stuff without needing to download. having to download the 7z to unpack makes it impossible to stream
Nyaa have re-routed all requests via CloudFlare, which essentially breaks every RSS reader out there :( I'll look for a solution, though it may not be easy.
Ya know, those fujoshi pay for the anime, unlike we snob over here. Do you really have the right to complaint like this in the first place if you don't even purchase an anime? Well ur post might be bait any way but IDGAF.
What is up with ton of anime these days catered for the girls? Man fuck this shit anime is already as crappy as it is and now it become more like an actual crap
I don't know about the motivation, but I see at least three advantages: * Makes automatic content identification somewhat harder. * Files are check for corruption while unpacking (very nice for releases, that don't have crc in file names). * File names stay completely unchanged. So, why not? BTW, direct link files used 7-zip for ages.
And this site can get DMCA'D anytime probably seeing how everything here is illegal and all (I pray it don't happen) I'm pretty sure your smart enough to know that but then again....
And I wasn't going to share them on here anyways since this is for anime only and not hentai.
Hi there, can i ask you a favor? Can you send me a link for [DeadFish] Dog Days' (Season 2) all Specials (01-13) [bd][720p].& thank you very very very much ;i'am waiting for you reply.Sorry to bother you my friend.
Ah good old Oni Chichi anyways I can give you links which season of it that you want since it's like four different ones or do you want all that's out. Has for Kansen hmm don't think I've seen that one.
I wasn't going to download a torrent that had a missing episode. And there was no assurance the missing episode would be added later. And old material like this is not really what we do. ACX has IRC bots for those interested in old releases, or perhaps an archive somewhere.
There's almost an infinite amount of old stuff out there, and we're pretty much at our capacity with new stuff.
