It's just a rewatch, all Haruhi I've watched since long time ago haha... Oh Tibb, wait, I see Deadfish's release at yukinon, so you don't need to fetch delicio.us's release
We leave empty notes for history to decipher. ------------------ I don't know about the S3 you asked about in another note, but have you seen the movie? It's an original story, not a recap of previous episodes. "The Disappearance of..." --------------------- I have watched all of the "Endless Eight" episodes: Carefully. Repeatedly. I believe I now know their true meaning. But that would be spoiling. It goes with me to the grave. Good luck.
Are you talking about Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (2009)? I'll probably will get it from bakabt, so it will be the delicio.us version, but what quality would you like? 1080p, 720p, or 480p?
We're probably not as resilient as sites like Nyaa, simply due to having significantly less traffic. But because of that, we're less likely to be targeted.
It's interesting that Nyaa got taken down a second time, but it does somewhat highlight one of the issues with putting all your content on one site...
The majority of updates come from Nyaa. Even most material posted to TokyoTosho is actualkly sourced from Nyaa unfortunately. If people post stuff to TT, our listing will get updated, but otherwise, if Nyaa is down, expect most updates to grind to a halt.
I had originally hoped that they'd return to normal, but that hasn't been the case. :( Perhaps I'll eventually get around to removing all existing links, but as we retrieved the underlying service links, I'm not sure how many of those are dead yet.
The Japanese government crack-down story you mention has been discussed quite a bit here and at Nyaa, but I think the Japanese government or Japanese businesses are not likely to be the cause of this DDoS attack on Nyaa, for two reasons:
1. The attack occurred during a US holiday weekend. 2. There are reports the attack included MAL (My Anime List) and possibly other sites which have little to do with government crack-down targets.
It's all guess work and rumors right now, but it seems more like an anime-hate prank than anything else.
Do you guys have any countermeasure for DDOS attacks?Cause im really worried what will happen when u guys go down you are the last line of defense the entirety of anime rests on your servers.
We of the MY LITTLE PONY ACTION FRONT (MLPAF) believe we have made our point. We continue to demand the carriage of all Japanese vocal cast productions, regardless of country of origin. The script and vocal cast are the true heart of anime, whatever the country of origin of the computer drawings.
Also, we demand the head of Herkz the Heretic. --He never had cutie-marks. He never will.
Comply Nyaa, or next time we'll go all Unicorn on your asses (and mules).
That probably uses too many complicated words for you though, so since i'm a nice person i'll put it simply: The attacker floods the sites server with repeated requests until it's overloaded, making it inaccessible to regular traffic.
While Nyaa Is Currently Down. We Are Setting Up Camp On Anime-Index & Now Kickass ... If you wish to see other groups also partake with the same Torrenting sites we have currently acquired. We suggest you notify them and provide the following link http://tracker.anime-index.org/, so they can set up shop as well.
(Just passing it along in the hopes that it is pertinent information for you to continue to provide their re-encodes here. Thanks for everything!)
LOL! I found my very first comment here at page 2.
It's amazing how this site is still kept clean-looking and quick-loading since then. Thank you for all the hard work!
I'm sorry that even though I use the site very very often, it's only when both Nyaa and HorribleSubs sites are down that I remembered to express my gratitude. Yep, they're both down now. Without AnmeTosho, I'll be quite lost trying to work with my last resort, the not-so-easy-to-navigate TokyoTosho.
